Jasmine Kapoor I had a great experience at this Kho Kho restaurant. The staff specially chitrang vyas was very friendly, polite, and attentive. They made sure we were comfortable and checked on us regularly. The service was quick and professional. I really appreciated their positive attitude and excellent customer service. I will definitely come back again.

Maitham al jalali Ambiance: Casual, cozy dining with traditional touches and friendly chatter. Service: Attentive and knowledgeable staff, helpful with menu guidance. The food:Star dishes: Chelo kebab and tahdig showcase tender meat and crispy rice; ghorme sabzi has bright, herb-forward flavors. Highlights: Butter-saffron rice aroma, perfectly crisp Tahdig. Value: Reasonable prices for generous portions; good value on a mid-range night. Verdict: Solid, classic Persian fare with standout rice and kebabs. Marianna Chidzey Food is fantastic. I always bring my British friends here. This is not your typical Friday or weekend evening. Be prepared for loud music, animator, live DJ, live karaoke and fun. If you are not Latino bring an open mind and enjoy. Please have a Guanabana juice!

Kimberly Wong Came for dinner with some relatives visiting from abroad. Alexandra our waitress was lovely and professional. Food was good but I wouldn’t say it’s the best I’ve ever had. Still highly recommend!

Cory Sakai Large, clean restaurant location. Never thought Id be giving a five for an Ikea restaurant atmosphere score, but you get to see the cruise ships outside. Staff are friendly and helpful. The place was generally clean and in good condition. Just a slightly wobbly table. Good value nutritious breakfast that is hard to beat. Fun that it has black pudding available too, even though its an add-on. Dont forget that the first half hour of opening you get free coffee and more later if you are an Ikea family member.

Polly Killingley I honestly don’t write reviews often, but Calong in Stoke Newington absolutely deserves one. From the moment we walked in, the service was *exceptional*. The staff were warm, attentive and genuinely passionate about the food, the kind of hospitality that makes you feel like a valued guest rather than just another table. Every recommendation was spot on, and they struck that perfect balance of being attentive without ever hovering. The food itself was incredible. Every dish felt thoughtful, beautifully presented and packed with flavour. You can tell there’s real care and creativity behind the menu. What really stood out though was the atmosphere the team created. Relaxed, welcoming and quietly confident. It felt like the restaurant was running like a well-oiled machine but still with a very personal touch. It’s rare to find somewhere where both the food and the service are genuinely five-star, but Calong absolutely nails it. One of the best dining experiences I’ve had in London in my life. Already looking forward to coming back.
