5 /5 Esther: This is the 2nd time we have been here! ... Friendly staff, excellent quality food with good location. A lot of varieties on the menu, and really good price. The staff run the restaurant with their heart, even the plates served are preheated, and foods are hot and fresh. Highly recommend !

5 /5 Juliet Jones: Staying at a friend’s place for a few weeks and wanted to sus out the local places so we popped in here for a few pints! What a great pub. Reminds me of what pubs used to be like - everyone friendly and here for a good time. Really enjoyed the lively atmosphere and the staff were great. And the prices not bad for this day and age!! Wish our local back home was more like this place.

5 /5 Lena Burnham: New to the area and decided to check out some of the local pubs. Butterchurn is by far my favourite. The girls behind the bar were so sweet and also helped me out with directions too, will definitely be back for a game of pool next time

4 /5 Amy Flockhart: Very good food and great choice of drinks. Only downfall is you book or reserve a specific table and reserve sign gets moved for other people. What’s the point of reserving tables??? Time gets changed on reserve as well, for construction gentleman? As you can see in photos. Table 12 was reserved for 18:00 and second photo Table 13 for 8:00. Just a shame as a great pub
