2 /5 Tania: The food was nice enough, although not hot. If you have any food allergies or intolerances just be careful about their misleading information. A "Veganuary" menu that contains dairy is not vegan! Thankfully I asked before ordering. My husband ordered a second glass of wine to eat with his meal. It did not arrive until we were leaving the restaurant. The restaurant had three sets of diners at the time, two couples and one couple with a small child. Breakfast in the morning was plentiful with lots of offerings, but even food items only just placed for people to select from were luke warm and not hot.

4 /5 Alan: I went for a flat white and it was solid: decent crema, not too bitter, and the milk was properly steamed (no scalded taste like you sometimes get in chains). My partner had a cappuccino and said it was average — good foam but nothing special in terms of flavour depth. Pastries looked fresh; we shared a pain au chocolat that was flaky and buttery enough, though it wasnt warm. Service was friendly but a bit slow when it got busy — one barista handling everything, so there was a short queue. Prices feel about right for the UK high street (£4-ish for a large coffee), nothing outrageous. Its a reliable local option if youre in the area and want somewhere quieter than Costa or Starbucks, but if youre chasing speciality coffee or mind-blowing brews, you might want to look elsewhere. Well probably stop by again for a takeaway when were nearby. Solid 3.5–4 stars.

5 /5 Bianca W: I got to attend the Columbia restaurants pirate themed afternoon tea with a large group of friends yesterday, and it was fantastic. Service is great with friendly staff and prompt service. Sandwich selection as part of the afternoon tea was a bit of an elevated standard, with the typical smoked salmon on cream cheese, tomato and cheese, cucumber this time paired with chicken, and a sausage and piccadilly relish. The scones were fresh and absolutely delicious, super buttery and creamy, very delightful. Finally there was a very thorough cake selection presented, as well as smoothies and parfaits. The group unanimously decided the banana bread was the absolute winner, soft and rich and very well balanced. We had so many options to try and most of them were really fresh and scrumptious. I found a few cakes a little too on the sweet side, and the mocha I ordered was also way too sweet to drink for ky taste. Overall, a brilliant afternoon tea with so many items, lovingly presented in little pirate treasure chests. I enjoyed it a lot and would definitely recommend it.

5 /5 Anushka Gopeechund: We were seated at the window with an amazing view over the Thames. The service was excellent and on my husbands birthday, they surprised him with a delicious millionaire caramel shortcake. The food and prosecco was good.
