5 /5 George G: This is a great place if you’re looking for somewhere that has a bit of everything. They offer excellent coffee, as well as non-coffee options like iced matcha and fresh teas. There are also cocktails, winter warmers like mulled wine, and homemade drinks such as house lemonade or fresh orange juice. They also serve wines and beers. You can enjoy breakfast or lunch from their eat-in menu, or grab counter treats to have with a drink, like a house-made cinnamon bun, Guinness cake, or warm banana bread. It’s a pretty busy place, with funky music turned up for a lively, buzzing vibe. There’s also an outdoor area, perfect for warm weather, and toilets are available. The café is within walking distance of Finsbury Park station. When I visited, I was served straight away, though I’ve passed by on a Saturday when the queues can be long.

5 /5 Steven Jackson: Common Ground is a fantastic spot for coffee and brunch! The coffee is excellent — rich, well-crafted, and made with quality beans. The brunch menu is creative with options like Turkish eggs and tasty toasties, plus plenty of vegan and vegetarian choices. The café has a bright, welcoming vibe and a lovely leafy back terrace that’s perfect for sunny days. Staff are friendly and the atmosphere feels relaxed and community-focused.

5 /5 Toby Abraham: Went here for brunch with a friend and was very busy but the service and atmosphere was amazing! Didn’t take too long to get seated and I had the Turkish eggs. Could’ve been spicier in my opinion but still a good bit of scran and the coffee is too good (I even bought some beans afterwards)

4 /5 Dan Power: Very good food here - all veggie and vegan, high quality and big flavour. I got the vegan breakfast plate and loved it! Unfortunately it does seem to be a victim of its own success as the place is very busy - although we did go on a Saturday! Weirdly they seem to prioritise takeaway drinks over seated customers drinks, and we waited so long for our drinks that everyone had received and finished their meals before the coffees arrived! Also soon after finishing we were asked to leave so people queuing outside could take our table - which is understandable, but a shame. I recommend this place - and I suggest you go on a weekday if you can!

5 /5 Chrys Eleftheria (Ec): Great spot for brunch or coffee! Very chilled atmosphere and friendly staff! The food was very tasty! Had a nice spicy toastie and also a brownie dulce deleche! Omg!!! Heavenly taste!! So moist inside!! Loved it!!
