5 /5 Dan Szarmach: Stopped in for lunch on Christmas Eve, great atmosphere and service, and amazing food. Greeted warmly by Lynn and Gareth, then helped out by Valentin and Stefan. Started with the fig Negroni, sweetbreads, scallops, the core fried chicken, and the venison salami. All were great. Then the fish and chips and toad in a hole, both were on another level. For dessert custard tart and soft serve, it was the best ice cream I’ve ever had and the honey in it delectable! A very memorable Christmas Eve, also got to meet Gary the head chef what a delight!

5 /5 Sebastiaan: Went to Cornucopia by Clare Smyth for a birthday dinner and it was exactly the kind of spot you want for that, warm, relaxed, and with a lovely neighbourhood bistro feel. The potato menu is a highlight. If you go, try as many variations as you can (it’s genuinely fun and they’re all done really well). Cocktails were fine, but this definitely feels more like a wine-first restaurant. The caviar chicken bites were an amazing little snack to start. For mains, the lamb was beautifully cooked and properly satisfying. And the trifles for dessert were a standout, playful, different, and a great finish to my birthday dinner!

5 /5 Mark Goddard: I base all of my reviews on expectation vs delivery and value for money. Just wow. I have been priveleged to eat in many good restaurants, but what Clare Smyth, Lynn and Gary have created here is nothing short of outstanding. The restaurant is aesthetically very appealing. I understand why some reviews have highlighted the music but for me it was refreshing and provided a great atmosphere. I should begin by saying the staff are absolutely first class and although tough to highlight individuals, Jemimah and Lynn were fantastic. We opted to try some of the snacks and ordered the malted sourdough, olive and and crispy chicken and caviar. The eel and olive is a masterpiece. The texture of the chicken with the caviar was awesome and who doesnt love good bread?! For starters my wife had the seafood vol-au vent and I was swayed by the lobster basque. The vol-au vent was packed with seafood and a smooth but flavoursome sauce. The basque I could fave about all day. It was incredible. Small pieces of meaty lobster surrounded by the best tasting bisque, I have ever tasted. It was wonderfully seasoned but this wasnt the show stopper. The dish was accompanied by a piece of toast with a take on lobster thermidor. It was probably the best mouthful I have ever had. For mains we both had steak. I had the rib eye with Dauphine potato and hispy cabbage. My wife opted for the fillet steak with daphinoise. The rib eye was the rarer side of medium rare but that was perfect for me. The hispy cabbage was an absolute delight. As youd expect bot soggy and packed with flavour. My steak was so well seasoned and beautiful. The fillet though was next level. Easily the best steak I have ever eaten. The crumble was insane. As you would imagine reading this, you would think it couldnt get better but then i tasted the dauphinoise! It was tough to choose from the dedicated potato menu but this was a great choice and an absolute must! It was divine and i just want more of it, whilst writing this. To finsh we shared the best sticky toffee oudding i have ever had. It so light and yet had so much flavour. The sauce was rich but not sickly, i could easily drink a pint of it. Its really hard to find any fault at all. If I had to Id say I wish the restaurant was next door. I would probably have to sell my house to accommodate though as I would go all the time. Thank you for a great, truly great meal and experience. Congratulations on a well deserved star(wont be the last). If this is on your list, please go. if it isnt change that and rewrite your list.

5 /5 Peter Vandermolen: Awesome place. Top quality dishes with lots of flavor. The potato menu is great: lots of option but the triple cooked chips in beef fat is absolutely the bomb! Service is attentive and friendly. Must go when in the area!

5 /5 LL: Great service from a well-trained and very attentive team who made us feel welcome from the start. The fish and chips were spot on — perfectly crispy and full of flavour, made even better with a choice of different vinegars. The triple-cooked chips were a standout: crunchy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. The oysters were fresh and tasty, and the lobster bisque was rich, comforting, and absolutely delicious. We really enjoyed our time here — definitely worth it.
