5 /5 Shiv: The best restaurant experience I’ve had in Wanstead, hands down. We came to Dama de Elche as a family to celebrate Father’s Day and it was a lovely evening. My grandad goes here every other week with his friends, but this time he brought all of us along. Now I get why he keeps coming back. George, the owner, made us feel like family. He brought out extra dishes just for us to try, didn’t charge for some either, simply because he wanted us to enjoy ourselves. That kind of generosity is rare. And it made the whole evening feel personal and genuine. The food? Unreal. Highly recommend the chicken livers and sizzling prawns. Both full of flavour and cooked to perfection. Every dish was amazing. The staff were brilliant too. Friendly, attentive, and always checking in to make sure everything was perfect. We’ll definitely be back. And if you’re in Wanstead, this is the spot. One of those places that leaves a memory, not just a meal.

5 /5 Thanh Ly: Dama de Elche is a fantastic neighborhood gem. Its not on the high road, which means that most people (even locals) dont know about it. We really love this tapas restaurant and have been coming here for some time. Its a family run business, the atmosphere and the welcome you get makes you feel like youre in Spain. We always get the chicken livers and octopus, they are both must have dishes when were here. Our 3 year old loves the Spanish omelette, he finished it all by himself today and declared it yummy with every bite. The price is very reasonable for tapas in London. We had 6 dishes, bread, olives, two glasses of Rioja and an OJ for a reasonably priced £70 (including service). If you are planning to come here on a Friday or Saturday evening, then best to book ahead as theyre usually fully booked and youll be disappointed if you tried to just turn up. If youre in the mood for some authentic tapas if youre living in the area or just visiting, then drop by and treat yourself to some fantastic home cooked tapas in a wonderful atmosphere.

5 /5 Paul Winterford: A fantastic find in Wanstead great atmosphere, music is pleasant, not overpowering, lending to the total ambience. The staff are very friendly and helpful, not intrusive, while you are dining. The food is excellent reminding me of my recent holiday in the Galicia region of Spain. The menú is seasonal and reasonably priced . Will definitely come again.
