5 /5 Yogesh w Gurung: Amazing experience at Fredricks Hotel! Everything was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. The staff was incredibly nice and friendly, making sure every detail was taken care of. The food was delicious and arrived right on time. A special thank you to Bryan, who helped me with everything from the very beginning and took amazing care of me and everyone at the wedding. He truly made the whole experience stress-free and memorable. I highly recommend Fredricks Hotel for any special occasion!

4 /5 Cressida Miller: The hotel is a very good place to stay, with really friendly and welcoming staff. The room I was in was well appointed and really spacious. Both my room and restaurant area were cold and they had ran out of spare heater. The breakfast was generous and delicious and I had one of the best sausages and mash ever at their restaurant one evening.

2 /5 Dunx: The staff were helpful and friendly and the food was great unfortunately that’s all that’s positive about this place. The spa only had limited lounger space inside for relaxing, there was a party of girls that had taken all the loungers and then a pair of ladies who were shouting at the top of there voices on there phones which was a nuisance seeing as it’s suppose to be a relaxing spa and no staff even said anything so very disappointing even though the pool was warm and had great sauna and steam room. The evening meal was really nice, steak which was excellent and the service was quick and efficient, we were the only couple dining as there was a wedding on and I wish the staff had said this when we booked. The worst part was the bedroom and bed it was like sleeping on bricks and didn’t get a night sleep at all. The place is just tired and needs redecorating but for the price I’d have expected a decent mattress and a nice room not overlooking a busy road by the bar waste area with bottles being dumped into the bin all evening so not a good experience

1 /5 paint watercolour: DO NOT STAY HERE - YOU ARE WASTING YOUR MONEY room 5 then Room 1 Fredrick’s Hotel and Spa, Maidenhead, which has been profoundly disappointing and fell well below the standards expected of a four-star hotel. From the outset, the experience was unacceptable. The first room I was allocated had multiple maintenance issues, including wallpaper peeling off the walls, curtains hanging off the rail, and a cold water tap that did not function. Due to these issues, I was moved to a second room. Unfortunately, the second room was in an even worse condition. It was visibly dirty, with mould present in the bathroom, thick dust along all skirting boards, and curtains again hanging loose from the wall. The so-called “king-size” bed was in fact two single mattresses pushed together, creating a hard ridge down the middle that made sleeping extremely uncomfortable. The décor throughout was severely outdated, reminiscent of the 1980s, and the overall presentation was tired and neglected. Additional issues included a broken shower screen, poor-quality bed linens, no accessible Wi-Fi in the room, a very basic television offering, and outdated fire emergency plans displayed in the room, which raises concerns about compliance and guest safety. Another significant issue, however, was the spa. The spa was entirely out of service for the duration of my stay, despite being the sole reason I chose this hotel. Compounding these issues, a loud party was held on the Saturday night, with heavy bass music continuing until midnight, making it impossible to sleep. This is wholly inappropriate for a hotel positioning itself as a luxury spa retreat. Dining was also disappointing, with meals that were average at best and did not align with the pricing or reputation suggested by the hotel. While I was offered a complimentary one-hour massage valued at £75, this gesture is entirely disproportionate given that I paid approximately £700 for a seven-night stay and experienced persistent disruption, discomfort, and a complete lack of promised amenities. It is frankly shameful to market this property as a four-star hotel. Based on cleanliness, maintenance, amenities, and overall guest experience, it more closely resembles a two-star establishment at best.
