On booking we had requested a view of the TV to watch the football and a location ok for a baby highchair. The area we had was perfect. The team even called me weeks before to say the ruby (not the football) was now being shown to make sure we were okay with that. I am not moaning but I wish to share, I am vegan and usually what happens when I meet up with friends is everyone else eats well and, unless I have the chips or plant-based burger, I eat poorly. I accept this (its part of it), I dont expect too much. At the Hare and Hound though, I had the lentil pie (vegan) and it was amazing. I usually struggle with the vegan cheese (because it is usually bad) but this one had clearly been tasted, chosen and thought about. This was the first time in years I enjoyed a pub meal out with friends that wasnt burger and chips - I really really appreciated the high quality. I asked the other 6 of us and they really enjoyed and spoke highly their meat pies, fish pies, steaks and desserts! Hats off to a great chef & kitchen. The other members of the team were so attentive and friendly and helpful. We didnt have to call anyone over - they just were there checking-in and super present. Needless to say - cannot wait to be back
