What Clients Are Saying Highness Cafe & Tea Room (GG)
5 /5 cisem kayar: This is a welcoming family-owned business, ideal for take-away or a brief relaxing break. They offer a selection of homemade baked goods and sandwiches prepared daily. The extensive product range includes a variety of patisserie options. Highly recommended.
5 /5 Sue Lau: You need to pre-book the afternoon tea because the scones are freshly made therefore not stocked. The manager/ owner was very kind and allowed us to have the afternoon tea without pre-booking mainly. We were in awe when the food arrived, so much food - loved the beef with gherkins filling, focaccia was tasty too. It was all homemade!
5 /5 Michelle Pastel: The website links and phone number did not work, but we took our chances and walked to Highbury to see if they were open. Lucky for us they were open and everything was awesome- the food, the service, the atmosphere were amazing.
5 /5 Erin: The service and atmosphere at the Highness Cafe and Tea Room were wonderful! My friend and I are from the states and we spent our last morning in London at the cafe and the gentlemen there were so kind and the food was delicious. They even made us a custom Early Gray latte (London Fog) and they were perfectly "foggy." We were also given free croissants for our journey and they were delicious! Thank you for a great experience. I hope to visit again when I come back to London someday.
Ladan Hashemi Today was my first order and we just loved the kebab, saffron rice, and salad. Each portion was large enough for two adults. Will surely recommend.
Angela Togher We celebrated a family 40th and 70th birthday at the Pizza Express, Barnet, this week - Dominic was our waiter and he was exceptional. There were 22 of us and the restaurant was busy elsewhere, but the service, food and atmosphere was spot on. The staff here are always fabulous and friendly and the food consistently delicious. As a family, we love Pizza Express - what a fabulous restaurant.
Spencer Brooks Fresh tasty food in a nice hotel setting. Steak was perfectly cooked and sides were delicious. Waiter seemed new, was friendly but could have been more attentive. Overall nice evening.
Salvi Sarno Was recommended to try this place out by friends and my god was it a good recommendation, traveled 35 minutes and I would’ve done double it was that good! I had the triple burger with extra bacon (cripsy drizzled in maple syrup - WOOW), crazy fries and the bbq chicken wings. The burger patties so soft, the chips perfectly cooked, the chicken marinated so perfect and so succulent!! Everything from the food to the service was absolutely spot on and I can’t wait to come back again, just wish I lived closer so I could order takeaway.
Evangelo Panagi Out of all the gastro pubs we try in north london this is the one we know will deliver! Been here several times, staff are always pleasant and attentive, Sunday roasts are spot on and on the odd occasion when something isn’t quit right they’ll sort it apologetically. Hence the 5 stars. Looking forward to our next visit.
Tatiana Sales My husband and I went there last Friday. It’s a small Italian restaurant that pleasantly surprised us. We ordered a delicious pizza – the food was fresh and flavorful. We were also served a complimentary starter of crostini and olives, and for dessert, we had a tiramisu that came in a very generous, homemade-style portion.
We highly recommend this place – the chef and staff were incredibly attentive and friendly. It truly has a taste of Italy in London!
