Honest Burgers Windsor - (Near Berkshire, South East)

5 /5 Mitchell Majcher: Fantastic restaurant. Amazing for gluten free. I got the onion rings, a burger, and fries - yes, all of which were gluten free for a celiac. All were exceptional. The fries are fantastic with the herby flavour they add to them - they’re not just plain with sauce. Gluten free onion rings are very difficult to find & they were unreal. Burgers were solid as well. For anyone stopping in Windsor and if you like burgers, you will not be disappointed.

5 /5 Michal “Prosecco”: I have been visiting Honest burgers since 2017. They could be a chain, but not your usual chain. Everything is sourced from own sources and local suppliers, I love the collaborations of individual branches with nearby businesses and local specials. Each branch comes with a different local special burger, worth visiting them all. I have brought many friends and work colleagues to the "cult of Honest" and visit my nearest branch at least once a month, also I can never miss on an Honest, when Im in London. The chicken wings are to die for too! PS: I never eat a burger without the Bacon gravy! Shout out to Paulina and Gabe at Windsor branch. Thanks Gabe for inviting us over for the Windsor local special, the best local special at Honest burgers. We have come all the way from Basingstoke and we will be back!

1 /5 Rs: I just want to really have a conversation with who ever comes up with the menu for Honest or the people who taste test their food before it goes on their main menu because honestly their tenders are one of thee worse tenders in the history of mankind. Genuinely, not even over exaggerating on how bad they are, but the people who taste test there food need a slap for embarrassing Honest like that by even suggesting these tenders should be on the menu. Before they used to do a slightly different ones (could still be the same who knows), which werent anything special but compare them to these monstrosity they are like gold dust. These tenders are like if you were to slap PLAIN white flour ontop of a plain chicken tender and chuck them into a fryer to serve. PLEASE, sack the food tasting or menu creative team and get real people who know about flavour and taste. I understand you focus mainly on the burgers which I cant knock are good, but its the fact that you think this embarrassment is acceptable as a side might as well leave them of the menu, or even better yet use the same batter from the onion rings may even work.

3 /5 Gary Wise: For balance, I have thoroughly enjoyed Honest Burgers in Uxbridge and Reading. But what the hell happened at Windsor? We were burgered out, went for the gluten-free chicken tenders, chicken sandwich and onion rings. Mistake. Dry, bland chicken, oily fries but good onion rings. So disappointed, can only think it’s because it’s a tourist trap area. We sat by the front door and suffered an endless parade of scruffy Deliveroo and JustEats riders traipsing past our table. Not at all a good experience except for the lovely manager.

4 /5 H Y: Great burgers with generous portions perfect for both adults and kids. The location is fantastic, right across from Windsor Castle, making it an easy stop while visiting the area. This is a standard burger place with simple seating, so don’t expect a full restaurant-style environment. Worth noting that sauces are charged separately (except for the ketchup left on the table), but overall a really solid spot for a casual meal.
