Kashmir Tandoori Indian Restaurant Canterbury - (Near Kent, South East)

4 /5 Marcus Ballyn: Friendly staff, not sure why one was wearing white ear bud headphones. Food was good, reasonable size portions and priced. Restaurant was a little tired with menus, bench seating, fixtures and fittings seen better days. Id go again and would recommend.

2 /5 AP: I ate at Kashmiri Tandoor recently and was quite disappointed with the food. The chicken korma was very sweet and full of coconut shreds, which isn’t how an authentic chicken korma is made. Even the chutneys served with the papadoms were overly sweet, so it felt like sweetness was added to almost everything. That said, the staff were genuinely nice. They managed to get us a table during a very busy time even though we had no prior booking, which I really appreciated. Overall, great service but the food didn’t match my expectations.

5 /5 David Burns: Staff managed to fit 4 of us in on a busy weekend, even without a booking. The menu has a good range of dishes and caters for all tastes from mild to very hot, and had a nice range of vegetarian options. The food was excellent, with large portions, but a few dishes were late out. Its not a cheap restaurant but then it is in the centre of Canterbury.

5 /5 Denise Ach: This is my first meal here, and after reading the reviews I thought why not. And I’m happy I went in, the atmosphere was lovely, very busy, and as everyone said it is older decor, but I loved it, it was cosy sitting in there. The food was outstanding, great quality, came out sizzling hot, and felt I needed to be carried home I was so full. The price was good too, for the amount we ate. The staff were impeccable, The lovely Lisa and Sumaiya, Thankyou for your smiles, grace, and helping when we needed it, you are amazing! I would highly recommend this restaurant 5+++++++++++++ Thumbs up from us.
