Khyber Grill - (Near Barking and Dagenham, South East)

5 /5 K C: Me and my husband decided to visit khyber grill for his birthday and Iftar! Experience was great but most importantly the food was absolutely amazing! So flavoursome and fresh. We really enjoyed everything from start to finish and will definitely be visiting again.

5 /5 Ayesha: We had a good evening out at Khyber Grill last week. The food is all fresh and delicious with great flavour. Honestly I think the spice was held back a bit because we had many kids in our party that might have otherwise struggled, but still, the taste was good. The chapli kebabs with naan and mint chutney were the combo of choice for me. The daal and karahi were also very tasty. I was a bit light on the rest of the mixed grill, but I heard from other members of the party that the seekh kebabs in particular were very good. We were fortunate enough to try the whole lamb sajji which was impressively tender and delicious. Simple flavours but this allowed us to taste the sweetness of the meat. The service is prompt and if I’m honest the servers were very patient with our party. As I mentioned we had a number of kids who were frankly probably making their lives a little more difficult (sorry about that), and the servers kept calm and continued with their jobs. Even amongst the hassle and clear up of a broken glass. I would only advise others to be wary when ordering drinks, the lemon soda has black salt in it which I know is not to everyone’s taste. Similarly the salty lassi was not all that salty, but I suppose that can be customised at the table. The mango lassi was good but very sweet and the doodh patti was truly the star of the show. I ended up drinking both mine and my husband’s cups and subsequently struggled to sleep, but it was worth it. Best tea I have had in the UK.
