Milan Italian Restaurant - (Near , South East)

5 /5 Kate Connor: Ducked in prior to a show knowing I was pushing my luck for a table, but I was warmly accommodated. It was busy and initial service was slower than I’d hoped given I had somewhere else to be, BUT I asked for my main to be started in the kitchen as my starter arrived and I had very little wait between course which was ideal. I like to be left alone and I was, but could see and hear larger tables being checked upon regularly which is great if that’s what you like. Food was delicious and just what I was needing and wanting. I chose from the theatre set menu, 2 courses for £21.50, I had the Brie and the Alfredo. Paying the bill was quick and easy. Thank you for squeezing me in, I’ll definitely be back!

2 /5 Roy Wrim: After passing this restaurant a couple of times on our way to the theatre. We decided to go in as always looked busy. Got a table menus looked good. Then the disappointment started. Took 15 minutes for someone to come over and take food and drinks order. Only to be told no beer on draft only bottles normally ok but think this was probably to speed up the service of drinks. Personally as soon as you sit down you’re sometimes asked what would you like to drink. Then over an hour for food we only ordered mains. Which made me think this better be good. Looking at the other tables they were having the same issues and noticed before ours came that some tables were receiving half the tables food and then the rest 10-15 minutes later. When you wait over an hour for food we were getting close to the time where we were going to leaving not just because we had a show to go to but the total lack of organisation from the staff in restaurant not sure if this was the kitchen or the waitress’s. Then the food came and because of the wait was expecting something special and it was just ok nothing special the pizza was dreadful and something you could get from a budget high street pub chain.

4 /5 becca reed: Had a lovely meal here before going to the theatre. Their theatre menu really does make things easier when heading to the Mayflower afterwards.
