5 /5 Megan Brady: I came for dinner with my daughter and friends and we had such a lovely evening. The food was some of the best I’ve had, especially the butter chicken which was fantastic! The service was great, and the staff were so friendly and knowledgeable. Overall the restaurant was very cosy charming, and we’ll definitely be coming back again :)

5 /5 Hasanish xx: More Than a Restaurant. It Feels Like Family ! Every time we come to Mughal Palace, it feels like meeting old friends. They treat us not as customers, but as part of their family. Over the years, we’ve tried almost all of their signature dishes, and I can now confidently say the food here is simply insane. The only way to understand what Im talking about is to try it yourself and I’m sure you won’t be disappointed. You wont find flavours like these anywhere else in Amersham, or even elsewhere in the UK. My roots are in Bangladesh, and we eat curry almost every day at home. I’ve also tried curry from all over the UK, but Mughal Palace is truly in a league of its own. there’s just no comparison. Thank you, Ali, and the whole team, for keeping your standards so high for so long. This is what makes us return every time we are in Amersham and crave a restaurant curry. Keep up the fantastic work and thank you for making a real difference. Further more, I have searched recently and found that Mughal Palace is the only Indian restaurant in Amersham with a 5-star food and hygiene rating!!!.

2 /5 Andrea Alexander: On the evening of Saturday 10th January I ordered an Uber Eats delivery from this restaurant at 18.46 the delivery arrived lukewarm at 20.22. Having only moved the to area at the end of last year and not knowing my way around yet we decided that it would be easiest to place an order via Uber Eats a platform that I have used very efficiently for many years in our previous location. The delivery time at the point of order was stated as 19.10-19.30. At 19.30 I phoned the restaurant and a colleague told me my order was ‘next to leave the restaurant’. The restaurant is an 8 minute drive from my home, so I expected the driver to arrive around 19.45. At 20.00 I phoned the restaurant again, only to be told by Hassan that they ‘had a problem with the Tandoor oven’ and this had delayed everything. I wouldn’t have minded this explanation if I had been informed about the delay and even had the opportunity to change our order, as Uber Eats would have given them my phone number, but 30 minutes previously I was told our order was ready to go. Hassan offered me a 25% discount on a future order, however, at this point I had visited the website in order to get the phone number (as the restaurant appear to make their own deliveries and use Uber Eats only for ordering) and saw that had I ordered from them directly I would have received a 25% discount for my first order. When I pointed this out to Hassan the offer was increased to 50% - although I have no idea how to claim this. When the food arrived at 20.22 it was lukewarm so we had to heat it in our oven, meaning we did not eat until 20.40 – rather later than the 19.10-19.30 we were promised when we placed our order. Before I posted this review I e-mailed the restaurant, at the address on their website, so they could clarify whether our food was ready at 19.30 (hence it arrived cold nearly an hour later) or it wasnt. A week later I have had no response. This was my first experience of Mughal Palace and whilst the food, once it arrived and was heated up, was good I am in no hurry to go back.
