5 /5 Saam N: This is absolutely a must-visit spot for food lovers! My husband and I have been here several times, and every visit has been consistently fantastic. Some of the dishes and drinks we’ve enjoyed include: * Beef Rendang (honestly the best I’ve had in London!) * Nasi Lemak (chicken) * Nasi Goreng (prawn) * Curry Laksa (prawn and chicken) * Crispy Chicken Wings (crispy and piping hot) * Acar Nenas * Roti with daal Drinks: Teh Tarik, Bandung (my favourite), and Lemonade with mint leaf. Everything tastes incredible and genuinely authentic—just like the food I’ve had in Malaysia. You can really tell everything is freshly prepared in the kitchen. The portion sizes are very generous too; we always end up leaving with a takeaway bag. The restaurant itself is small but has such a warm, homely atmosphere that truly reminds me of dining in Malaysia. The beef rendang is especially outstanding when paired with roti. I’ve tried rendang at many places across London, but this one stands out—Normah does it best. The meat is always tender and the flavour is consistently rich and delicious. I was there just yesterday and already planning to go back next week. Definitely worth taking the time to secure a booking!

5 /5 Christy Ho: We were super glad to find out this place lived up to hype, especially in a city where good Malaysian food is far and few! The roti was all flakes no bread, piping hot and the best dish of all. We particularly enjoyed the beef rendang (effortlessly pulled meat) and fried chicken (crispy outside, juicy inside). Do expect the service to be slower as it’s a one man band—but where Asian food is often fast and furious, it was a nice to appreciate a slower change of pace. (It definitely didn’t hold back on spice either and surprised us too!) We’d love to come back even just for the roti!

5 /5 Alex Salamone: We were a little early, while waiting for our table the people leaving told us we were in for a treat and they were definitely coming back - always a good sign! Some of the most delicious food I’ve eaten in London. We ordered a lot but really wanted to try lots of things and every dish was fabulous. We had the curry laksa king prawn, assam pedas sea bass, roti beef rendang and crispy chicken wings. Staff are super friendly. The place is very small and casual but has a great wholesome & welcoming vibe.

5 /5 saba orakzai: If I could give higher than 5 stars I would. Normah’s by far exceeds expectations when it comes to Malaysian food. It has a small menu (which is always a good sign in my opinion, focus on quality vs quantity) with well known Malaysian dishes I.e. laksa, nasi goreng. We have been twice and have tried the beef rendang, the dhaal, prawn laksa (the prawns are fresh), fried chicken and nasi goreng. All have been 10/10. As a Muslim, I love to see other Muslim/immigrant owned businesses doing so well at bringing bits of their culture and heritage to the UK. Sometimes it is tricky to get a table but if you plan ahead it’s not impossible.
