1 /5 Liam Taylor: Would not come back.
I ordered online using their website as I have done many times before. An hour went by and we didn’t hear anything and so I phoned them. I politely requested an update on my order and I was met with the rudest, most confrontational, condescending female. She claimed the driver knocked on my door and windows and no one answered and so left. I have full CCTV coverage outside my house and so checked my cameras and confirmed this wasn’t the case. I tried explaining this to her but she wouldn’t listen and insisted I was wrong. I held my hands up to my mistake in putting one incorrect digit on my phone number and but they still had my email address and so had means of contact.
Regardless, I told her it is what it is and offered to come and collect the order. When I arrived, I was met with this same female who was just an unpleasant in person as on the phone. She tried belittling me, telling me to answer the door next time despite having proof that the driver never even entered my road, let alone knock on my door.
This whole palava could have been easily de-escalated by each holding our hands up to our mistakes and moving on. It’s a shame because everyone else working there was polite and respectful apart from this one person, which has left a sour taste. It’s a shame because I’ve been a customer since it opened and have never had an issue with the food. But, ultimately I will never go back due such appalling customer service.
