From the moment you step inside, you’re welcomed by a cozy, intimate atmosphere with beautiful mosaic lamps casting a warm, colorful glow across the room. The décor feels both elegant and comforting, making it the perfect spot to relax and unwind. The food and drinks are just as impressive. The coffee was expertly made with gorgeous latte art and a rich, smooth flavor. It was served with delightful little touches — sugar cubes, olives, and a fresh, vibrant dip — which made the experience feel thoughtful and special. Every detail, from presentation to taste, showed care and quality. The ambiance is calm and inviting, ideal for catching up with friends or enjoying a quiet moment alone. Petek Restaurant truly offers more than just a meal — it’s an experience. Highly recommended, and I can’t wait to visit again!

5 /5 REG: Petek is a great Turkish restaurant in the Finsbury park area. I came here on a Thursday evening in early October for a friends birthday. As a party of 10 we were seated in a large table by the window. Service was quick and friendly. As I arrived there were olives, pitta bread and a spicy tomato dip on the table. We were not charged for these. We ordered a range of mains and feedback was good for all of these fishes. I personally had the Lamb Beyti and really enjoyed it. I also had a turkish lemonade which, with its mint garnish, had a zesty freshness which would be difficult to replicate. The waiter brought out some Baklava with chocolate ice cream to share and we were also not charged for this. A lovely gesture. Across the board food, vibes, and other stuff was good here. I would recommend this restaurant for groups of a range of sizes and note that they had advertised a 2 course deal at both lunch and tea time.

5 /5 Katy Soto: Had such a lovely dinner here with friends. Has a proper family-run feel to it. Warm, generous, service was great, especially the younger guy who looked after us. Classic Turkish dishes, done really well. And the cocktails were very good!! Can’t wait to come back soon

The food did not lose anything from its taste andI would say the same for the kindness and the atmosphere. Everything was great as usual; delicious food, generous portions and friendly service. We ordered the lamb shish, tarama, börek, and calamari — everything was fresh, flavourful, and beautifully prepared. The lamb shish in particular was tender and well-seasoned. The service was warm and friendly, and the cosy atmosphere made it a perfect spot for a relaxed meal. A great local Turkish restaurant that we’d happily recommend to others.
