Saffron Street - (Near Redbridge, South East)

4 /5 Rabeya K: Was my first time visiting saffron street with family. The food was tasty and was a great vibe! My favourite was the fried ice cream that was absolutely delicious! The only criticism I have is the portion size is small compared to other restaurants for the prices. Overall was enjoyable!

5 /5 Ateeq Bashir: What can I say, Im really grateful that they were very accommodating. I originally booked table 10, then asked for 15, which they changed, then 2 days before arrival I rang and changed the time, then the day before I rang to increase to 18. The day we arrived we had to wait around 10/15 minutes to be seated which is understandable considering it was a Saturday. Once seated to receiving our food was very reasonable amount of time, food was amazing everyone enjoyed themselves, even the Gluten free one and the fussy one. Thank you for a good time. The pictures was only from my side of table which do not do justice.

5 /5 Iroh Eats: It’s been a few years since I’ve tried this place so I was curious as to whether the quality had been upheld. We had the Lucknowi Darbaari which serves 2. A selection of butter naan, samosas, kheer, butter chicken etc. If you’re looking to try a well balanced range of Indian cuisine this is your best bet. My favourite was the butter naan paired with butter chicken although if I was being picky I would have liked the naan to be more piping hot. Suffice it to say that the quality has been upheld. I’d recommend trying this place out, the decor and aesthetic is also in good taste. If I was to come again I think I’d try the fusion tawa…

4 /5 tasnim: Delicious food. Masala fries where probably the best I’ve ever eaten. The tacos were nice, but a bit too oily. One negative was the attendee when I arrived within the 15 minutes holding time. I was not aware the entire group had to be there to claim the reservation (especially when one of them is arriving with a newborn baby!) and feel like it could have been communicated more nicely especially once our original table had been given away. Other than that, the service was fine.

1 /5 Faysal Siddique: I am a very fair person, but let me share my experience as it was not it. Me and my friends went inside as we were passing by as it looked nice from the outside. We ordered Kashmiri tea and a Passionfruit Mocktail. The kashmiri tea was nice and fairly priced. However, the mocktail I asked beforehand how large it is. The waiter told me 500ml. My drink arrived and the glass was filled with half ice and barely and drink inside. I literally took 2 sips and it was already finished. Probably less than 300ml of it was the actual drink. I told the waiter the drink was too small and £7 is extortionate. But he was EXTREMELY rude and even argued with me and said this is how it is for all customers. He refused to give me a small discount aswell. I was very unhappy with the customer service, I hope they learn how to treat customers. I will definitely not be coming back here again, terrible experience!!
