Sahtain Cafe - (Near Richmond upon Thames, South East)

Iain Martin This is the local cafe at the end of our street. We usually only get coffee but decided today to try the big fried breakfast. Well, what to say? It was huge, delicious, and great value. All the meats tasted lovely and the portion was very generous. The folks running the cafe are always superb. Always happy and greet you with a smile and a joke. They remember your order after your first visit and really make the cafe a nice place to visit and hang out. If you want a cheeky breakfast (it’s on all day so even have it for lunch) treat then we’d definitely recommend stopping in.

Anj As soon as you walk in, the ambiance of the restaurant makes you feel relaxed. The waitress gave amazing service from start to finish. I only ordered the margarita pizza but it was perfection and the wine is lovely. Everything is affordable and I shall definitely be returning!

ashley blake A fabulous, informal restaurant at the heart of this famous nursery. There’s also two shops and plants galore. The nursery also has its famous restaurant and an afternoon tea room! All under their greenhouses and decorated very stylishly.

Carlos Dias-Madeira We popped in for our first visit as a family meal to celebrate our 19-year-old son’s birthday. He loves steak, so trying the newly opened (8 weeks) Twickenham steakhouse felt like a must — and we’re very glad we did. Between us, we ordered a variety of steaks, all served with generous portions of chips and mushrooms. I left my ribeye in Tom’s hands to cook as he saw fit, and it was absolutely delicious. Friendly service, a good wine selection, and a relaxed, no-frills atmosphere made for a very enjoyable evening. It was a quiet night — Saturday 3rd January is probably one of the quietest nights of the year anywhere — but we were all very happy with the experience. We’ll definitely be back to try breakfast another day.

B Amber (Kiwi) We ubered here from our airport hotel exclusively because we wanted to have good quality Indian food before flying home. They did not disappoint. Large cuts of chicken in the Tikka Masala and the Korma, soft naan and wonderful hospitality . I would come here again in a heartbeat!

André Santos The restaurant has an absolutely amazing team and the food was freshly made,tasty and in very good portions. Was very pleased with the food and with the quiet environment. Very clean and organised restaurant and definitely will be a place to return and recommend to friends and family.
