5 /5 Pui Man Lo: Saro’s Thai Cafe is so good! Everything tastes exactly like authentic Thai food in Thailand. The Thai milk tea is super tasty. Pad Thai and pork leg on rice are my absolute favorites. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be coming back. Hope to see more new desserts in the future, like pandan cake and mango sticky rice!
5 /5 Henry South: Like the crispy pork belly rice and Thai milk tea. The satay chicken is well grilled and served in hot as well but hopefully the marinated could be better to make it more and more tasty. I gave 4 stars of atmosphere as the floor is sticky. But overall is highly recommended. and happy to have some authentic Thai food on the day out to Portsmouth.
5 /5 Vivian Tsai: This is the best Thai food I had in the south. Very authentic and the Thai tea and coffee is soo good! Pork belly is very crispy and the basil and chili stir fry has wok hay
5 /5 Raymond Bewry: Restaurant Review
My three friends and I visited this Thai restaurant yesterday evening, and we all really enjoyed our individual meals. I ordered the Saro’s Fried Rice with Prawns, and it was delicious—flavorful, well-cooked, and satisfying. The staff were polite and friendly, which made our dining experience even more pleasant. Overall, a great place to enjoy authentic Thai food with excellent service!
5 /5 Graham Cave: Great little Thai restaurant . For starters we had the squid and chicken wings.Mains were the crispy pork belly and the pork leg both with rice. All very tasty . The pork leg was outstanding. Well worth a visit.
X X Looks are deceiving, unassuming appearance that contains within wonderful, friendly staff, excellent service, great food. Menu offers dishes with a choice of protein making it perfect for all. Tofu is cooked nicely, all very tasty and very filling. We come back time and time again. Highly recommend. Friends we take there say it’s the best recommendation they’ve had. About time we had an amazing eatery in the neighbourhood.
Andriy Sas Great variety of food with plenty of options for everyone. Everything was fresh and tasty. The staff are friendly and attentive. A nice place to enjoy a meal with family or friends. Thank you for the great experience.”
Lizzy Beans Stopped for breakfast. Had the veggie option and asked for brown toast. What we did get was lukewarm at best, white bread/toast (which had barely seen a flame), beans were tepid too.
The restaurant was cold too, which probably didnt help. On the plus side the coffee was nice.
Bee Ng So glad we found this Malaysian spot! The food is authentic, delicious and generously portioned. Highly recommend the char kuey teow and Penang curry mee. The wantan mee with char siew is also really good. Pair with milo ice and youll feel like youre in Malaysia!
