Shepherds bakery cafe - (Near Redbridge, South East)

5 /5 lisa campion: Me & my Mum have been going to Shepherds for the last 4 years, and what started as an occasional visit has turned into a daily visit. The staff are very warm & friendly and treat you as if you are family. The food is amazing, the atmosphere is second to none & its a place you can call home from home. This place is absolutely spotless & if you are in there after 2pm you will see the staff empting all the food cabinets are cleaning them from top to bottom. We would highly recommend this gem of a place.

5 /5 Aleyna: I come here almost a couple of days in week. It’s my favourite cafe in the borough.Everything is absolutely affordable especially with the inflation rising. It is cheap for such high quality food.The food here is absolutely delicious and is incredibly comforting .Additionally the service here are extremely amazing. The staff are sweet to all their customers. Owners are lovely and take care of each of their customers.The hygenie here is lovely ,clean and spacious. They clean throughly at the end everyday.The English breakfast is top tier. And they have outstanding coffees made by the owners. I love a good sausage roll and cornish pastry from here when i pass sheperds

1 /5 Sheikh korbula Mamun ahmed (M.A.S.K): ⭐ Shepherds Cafe – Very Disappointing Experience I had a very bad experience at Shepherds Cafe. My brother and I ordered two coffees (one with sugar, one without) and two vegetarian pastries. When I started eating my pastry, I found a long hair inside it. I immediately informed the lady at the counter, but instead of apologizing, she rudely asked if the hair was mine. It was clearly not — the hair was long and I have short hair. This was extremely unprofessional. When I asked for a replacement, she said there was only one vegetarian pastry left, and that they didn’t remove it from the shelf — which made me think they already knew there was something wrong with it. That’s completely unacceptable. The place felt unhygienic, and the customer service was very rude. The lady who served me seemed to be either the manager or the owner, and I felt she didn’t care about my complaint — possibly because I’m Asian. Not even a single “sorry.” I left very disappointed. Please check your food carefully before buying anything here — poor hygiene and terrible service.
