Alex was an amazing host and even better chef, passionate about he’s craft and doesn’t believe in cutting quality with hes ingredients. 5 /5 Zoë Myers: I didn’t know what to expect as it was almost empty given the time, I think it’s more of a brunch place in terms of atmosphere and popularity. But the food was truly delicious, the mackerel crostini with pickles was amazing, so well seasoned, the lentil stew with roasted vegetables was so hearty and flavoursome. Thoroughly enjoyed the meal and will be returning soon.

5 /5 tom lyne: I chose to have my 30th Birthday Dinner at Stella’s room and I am so happy that I did. We were able to have the whole place to ourselves for about 30 people and everything was simply perfect. Our host, Aleksandra couldn’t have been more welcoming. We were in regular contact before the event and she was just so accommodating and flexible to make sure the night went as smoothly as possible. She was also a very fun host on the night! Dikshya, our waitress, was also lovely and a very attentive! We had a three course set menu and the food was fantastic and very reasonably priced. The craft beers were also great. This meant we were able to have a private, delicious three course meal without breaking the bank. I really could not recommend Stella’s room enough if you were looking for somewhere to host a private event. 10/10. Thank you so much to everyone at Stella’s Room!!

5 /5 Judith Quin: SO glad to have popped in here on Bank Holiday Monday. The cafe was almost empty and that is sometimes a warning sign, especially as there was a buzzing and full cafe around the corner - but the menu looked nice and my friend and I actually wanted a quieter place ... so the gentle jazz and quiet energy of Stellas room was perfect. Our waitress was considerate (checking a couple of ingredients for us) and what a delight when the food came! I was thinking Id be healthy-ish and so went for the pork belly salad .... WOW! ... I expected a little bit of pork and a lot of salad - it was a very generous portion of fabulously crispy pork belly on a deliciously different salad. My friends chicken schnitzel (the special) was also awesome .. and the chunky chips delicious and plenty for two to share. Had we known how generous the portions were we wouldnt have had the ham croquettes to start (these were yummy rather than amazing) Id say the mains were really good value - the croquettes a little steep for what they were - But overall - what a find. Shame I live nowhere near!! But if I was local Id be a regular here.
