Karthika Sudarsan Absolutely loved our experience at Tindli Chef by Karnavar! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The food was fantastic, full of authentic flavours and beautifully prepared. Every dish felt fresh and comforting, especially the Kerala style dishes which were rich and delicious. A special shoutout to Sruthi, whose service was truly top notch. She was warm, friendly, attentive and made sure we had everything we needed, which made the whole dining experience even better. Great food, wonderful hospitality and a lovely atmosphere. Definitely a place I’d recommend and happily visit again!

caroline osella Just the best in Croydon so far. The lunchtime queue tells you all you need to know. Rice and peas, veg, 3 big bits of chick, six quid. Plantain, stew, all that.

Elizabeth Davy We were looking for a breakfast in Croydon, and went to 5 different cafes before finding Golden Chef! The staff were immediately warm and hospitable, and we found the tables very clean and spacious. The food came quickly, was really tasty (we had a full English variation) and well priced. I also had a lovely coffee. Thank you Golden Chef for a lovely breakfast!

Supersupergirl This place has always been here never but never tried until today because they do grilled chicken. The menu was annoying as half of it was not displaying like the chicken with rice that I got. I was charged 6 pounds for that and it comes with a drink. With grilled chicken it always takes ages but mine was ready in a flash yet the skin was still crispy. I still had some rice left so decided to get some more wings which are 3.50 on the menu for 6. Again, I was just about to sit down and they were ready. Oddly I found 8 but possibly they were small so gave 2 extra? Overall it was delicious especially the wings. The chicken was good but there was something odd about the taste. It was either the grill or the oil that doesnt taste clean.

Nina Morrison I had my birthday lunch in this awesome restaurant. I celebrated with a couple of friends. Our overall experience was great! Food was delicious, fresh and nicely presented. Oysters were my #1. Judy, our waitress was absolutely amazing! She gave us a brief, but essential description of all dishes and really looked after us properly. We surely will be visiting Fern shortly!

Imogen Bramhill Had a sausage, bean and cheese melt from here twice now, both times quick, friendly service and food was tasty, hot and satisfying. It’s good to have some nice hot food options that far up the platforms. More recently bought chicken wings and mac & cheese here just before closing, and both were really tasty - Mac & cheese had crunchy cheesy topping and garlicky-like flavour throughout; the wings have a spicy different flavour, crispy outside, juicy inside, not very big.
