Taj Mahal Indian Takeaway & Restaurant - (Near Kent, South East)

4 /5 Susan Hicks: Im not normally one for writing reviews, we have been using this restaurant for 3 years. Last week failed to deliver naan bread. And despite mentioning this today, they forgot the rice. Not good. Will continue to use it , but someone should be checking. Food is great.

5 /5 Keith Martin: A hypothetical TV-infomercial for Taj Mahal would go something like this: “Hey, families of Herne Bay! Are you sick and tired of the same old Indian takeaway? Do you want a real taste of Indian? Order from Taj Mahal.” While they do have a la carte and tasting menu options for dinner, the best value is their takeaway.

1 /5 Claire Bayat: Terrible! Under new management. Chicken tikka was so spicy even though it’s meant to be mild. Plain basmati rice in our mushroom rice so obviously cross contamination worrying as I have allergies. Half the order was missing couldn’t get through on phone so husband drove there where the chef argued with staff then walked out! DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!

5 /5 Steve Gray: Theres a reason this place has five stars. Its clean, tidy, staff are respectful. Easy to talk to and ask how you enjoy your food. For a person who was driving, its out of town, easy to park Lamb Tawa was cooked with fresh, crunchy veg. Onions that you knew were cut earlier. Thanks for a very enjoyable evening.

1 /5 Charlotte Miller: Had a takeaway on Saturday night waited 2 hours after 3 phone calls being told it was on its way finally turned up the delivery driver tried to over charge me and I refused to pay the extra £5 so he told me I need to ring the shop and find out what was going on which I did and the man on the end of the phone said the driver was wrong !!! Started to Serve up food and it was everywhere there was oil and sauce all over every dish the bottom of the bags were full of it to which I got it all over my clothes, two items were missing from my order and the chips we had ordered for the kids had been left in a foil container with lid on so we’re soggy and sweaty from condensation. I rang the shop yet again and asked to speak to the manager explained why I was not happy and all he said is I will give you money off next time he did not want to listen to what I had to say and told me it must have been the drivers fault taking no responsibility I declined that offer and told him I will never order from there again. ORDER AT YOUR OWN RISK !!!!
