5 /5 Scoods: Visiting The Black Lion for the first time, I was initially sceptical about whether the food would live up to the glowing reviews. After trying the Sunday roast, I can confidently say it was one of the best I’ve ever had. The lamb was full of flavour, the portion was generous, and it was excellent value for money. Although the fish was unavailable, Hannah was incredibly attentive and knowledgeable and was able to recommend an alternative dish, which was thoroughly enjoyed. Dessert took it to another level and was the perfect finish to the meal. The atmosphere and food were outstanding, but it was the service that truly set the experience apart. We’re already planning our return — thank you!
