5 /5 T. V.: The Dynamo is an incredibly good example of what a Wetherspoon pub can be when it’s done right.
The bar area is cosy and welcoming, and the outdoor seating with views of the River Thames is a real highlight, especially in good weather. Service is quick and efficient, exactly what you want in this kind of setting.
Food is, of course, Wetherspoon food — you know what you’re getting. That said, if you choose wisely, it can be very good. The Indian dishes are particularly strong, burgers are consistently reliable, and when paired with a meal deal, the value for money is outstanding, especially for central London.
Overall, it’s a great place to socialise, have a casual meal, and enjoy drinks without any fuss. Relaxed, good value, well located — and a spot I’m always happy to return to.
