The Fox Goes Free - (Near , South East)

5 /5 Ben: My partner and I went for Sunday lunch, as I have been here for drinks before but never actually eaten, and it definitely didn’t disappoint! My partner had the Pork roast and I had the Fish & Chips - both were delicious and great portion sizes. The pub/restaurant had a lovely atmosphere and the staff were all really friendly and attentive. The location is stunning too. We will definitely be returning and we highly recommend it :-)

5 /5 Rich Willing: Such a great pub, after a long day on the bikes we arrived here tired and hungry and were looked after way beyond our expectations. The manager allowed us to store our bikes, provided a hose and placed us by the fire for an excellent meal. He also arranged for an early breakfast so we could set off early the next day. We will be back as soon as we can!

5 /5 Mark Deadman: Visited for a meal on Christmas Eve with my two now very grown up children. Kind of a little tradition we have going to visit, and I am certainly pleased that we chose to invest the time we had here. The service was friendly and welcoming from the outset. Seated in the snug by the fire, maybe we just got lucky with this but it was so nice to feel the warmth radiating out and hear the gentle crackle of the flames. The food came to the table at a pace we were comfortable with and we never felt at all rushed. Everything seemed to have been placed on the plate with genuine care for what was being presented. It tasted as good as it looked. Time spent with family is a precious thing and it will not be wasted here.

4 /5 David Main: Very, Very good. Lovely setting, lovely staff. Everything is very good. Its quite pricey, not terrible value, but price is possibly slightly higher than the product. Only minor bad thing, which is silly as it was my parting experience; is the ice cream portions. If someone pays £7+ for three scoops of ice cream, its because they like and therefore want a bowl of ice cream. Three scoops that would be dwarfed by golf balls is an unnecessary annoyance after a lovely meal, in a lovely setting. Other deserts were gorgeous and appropriately portioned, just felt peeved at mine. Thank you for having us, over all a very good meal :)

5 /5 Sam Cullen: I just wanted to say a huge thank you to you and the entire team at The Fox for such a fantastic Christmas work lunch on Friday. The room looked absolutely beautiful and created the perfect atmosphere for our celebration. The food was truly amazing — every course was delicious and thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. On top of that, the staff were exceptional: friendly, attentive, and professional throughout, which made the whole experience feel effortless and special. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue or better service, and we’ve had so many positive comments from the team since. We really can’t thank you enough for all the hard work, care, and attention to detail that went into making the day such a success. Please pass on our thanks to everyone involved. We’ll certainly be recommending The Fox and look forward to returning again in the future.
