The Ivy Canterbury Brasserie - (Near Kent, South East)

3 /5 Bugsy Malone: First impressions was slow service at the bar, felt like the staff were busy at times but seemed to be stopping to chat amoung themselves and ignoring the customers looking to be served at the bar. Later on we asked for a table and was shown to a nice table in the back. Food was nice but one dish was just warm not hot, drinks were great although our last round felt rushed, the consistency of the presentation was not kept as different bar persons make the drinks differently. Overall a nice experience for what we paid for, advised to book a table if coming here.

4 /5 linziweatherson: A lovely ivy. As always, the food is absolutely delicious and staff very attentive! In this restaurant the tables are quite close together and we missed the usual table cloths giving that cosy vibe, but surfaces were clean. We had a slight issue in this venue with dirty stained glasses, but the drinks were delicious!

5 /5 Aidan Magson: We went to the Ivy Canterbury for lunch on a Friday. We had the avocado puree, sourdough bread and arancini as appetizers, it was all very good food. We had the cheese souffle and duck salad as starters. The duck salad was excellent, I would get this again. I couldnt help but think the cheese souffle was too similar to an omelette to be called anything else. For mains we ate scallop and prawn linguine and the Moroccan chicken. We were actually full before we even got to the mains, but the mains were lovely. We had Fiona serve us and couldnt have asked for better service, she was attentive and polite, every course came out in a timely manner. We also had two lagers each and a still water for the table. Overall, the meal was worth what we paid but you get what you pay for at this restaurant, I would go back again to try some of the other options on the menu.

5 /5 Irina Springate: Such an amazing dining experience from the start to funish! The staff was very polite, welcoming, knowledgeable & attentive to our needs. Food was very well prepared, hot & nicely presented. We arrived there just before lunch time when it was less busy, but shortly after the place was buzzing & were lots of people there. Nonetheless, everyone was taking care of. We will definitely visit this restaurant again & recommend to our friends. Thank you to all staff there for making our visit special.

4 /5 pop: first time at the ivy! we had their £19.17 two course menu, which ended up being really cheap! started with the french onion soup, which was lovely, and the chicken skewers, which were gorgeous, satay chicken can never go wrong. for mains we had the mushroom tortellini and the shepherds pie. the tortellini was a little boring, but tasted good, same with the shepherds pie, which was pretty standard, quite small portion though. we finished it off with the sticky toffee pudding which was delicious!! it comes with clotted cream on the top, which i loved! i feel like the atmosphere in the ivy never disappoints, lovely interior, music, and vibe. the seats at the bar are also very vibey, with the light up bar table. however, i feel like ive “done” the ivy now, dont really feel like any of the food was amazing enough to have again. i also think that if i were to have paid full price for the items, or got the from the standard menu, that they wouldn’t have been worth the price. but obviously for the £19.17 price point, i cannot complain! overall, lovely vibe restaurant with nice staff, but the quality of the food doesn’t really match the price point, but had a good time nonetheless!
