The Ivy Northcote Road Brasserie - (Near , South East)

5 /5 Mags W: I went here on the off chance for a late lunch on a Monday. The place was half full. We were welcomed by a waitress with a welcoming smile. The first thing I noticed was the beautiful interior modern but with a touch of tradition. It had such a lovely atmosphere. The seating areas were not too close together like some other establishments. The waitor who was serving us was very knowledgeable and intentive. He was so professional and well presented. They offered a deal on the menu for £19 which you could get 2 choices. I opted for starters and main. While my friend chose mains and afters. I had the chicken skewers for starters which was succulent and flavoursome and the minute steak for mains, which is accompanied with chips cooked 3 ways. If you order the steak there is an additional fee of £4.00. The steak was just how I like it and the chips were nice not dry as I thought they might be. My friend ordered the shepherds pie for her main and the sticky toffee pudding for afters. They both tasted great. We enjoyed our food. The drinks we ordered the bottle water. We would definitely recommend this place and I would be visiting again to try another dish.

5 /5 Matthew Kitchener: I visited The Ivy Northcote Road today and while the food and atmosphere were lovely, it was truly the service that made the experience unforgettable, all thanks to our incredible waitress Celiana. Celiana is, without exaggeration, probably the best waitress I have ever been served by. She was so so so sweet and genuinely personable from the moment we sat down. Her attentiveness was flawless, always present at just the right moments and making sure we had everything we needed without ever being intrusive. She has that rare duty of care mindset that makes you feel completely looked after and valued as a guest. What stood out most was how authentic she was. You can tell when someone has been raised in a good home and has a genuine love for people, and that warmth just radiates from her. Her kindness did not feel rehearsed or transactional, it felt completely natural. She made us feel welcome, relaxed, and truly cared for. I honestly believe she would be a fantastic fit in a Michelin star restaurant or even training hospitality staff. She embodies exactly what exceptional service should look like, professional, warm, attentive, and heartfelt. We really really enjoyed the service she provided and I can confidently say we will be returning specifically because of her. Celiana is an absolute credit to The Ivy Northcote Road.

5 /5 Sheena King: The cuisine was exceptional; it was a close friends birthday, and she expressed a desire to visit the Northcote Road location. The personnel were exceedingly amiable, and the ambiance was delightful, featuring a Christmas tree that truly put me in the Christmas spirit.

4 /5 Phil Stone: Nice interior design and the food is actually not too bad as well. At the moment they offer a special 1917 set menu for only 19.17£ for 2 courses. The menu consist of British and French classic dishes like onion soup and shepherds pie. Overall it’s a classic restaurant with solid food and service but a bit pricey.

3 /5 C & J: I generally love the Ivy and have visited so many locations across the UK that I always have a standing NYE reservation. In recent years though the cocktails have gotten a bit stale while the prices continue to spiral. For fun we ordered most of the new festive offerings and while the garnishes were fun they really were very basic. Happily we moved on to the local Thieves pub which is just as beautiful inside but with better drinks and even lovely plates from Balans.
