5 /5 Darren A. Smith: Our first visit to this pub. The service and the food were excellent. Especially, the sausage rolls, which were very meaty and tasty. The prices were a bit too high, otherwise we’d go back. Plus, the toilets were extremely clean, though the had dryer was cold.

4 /5 Lloyd Stevens: Today we went back to the Jobbers Rest for the first time since becoming a member of the Heartswood Inns. We enjoyed a lovely Sunday lunch with good food and friendly service. We started with the French Onion Soup and the Mushroom Arancini. This was followed by the Sunday Roasts of Pork Loin and the Beef which were very nice although I felt I could have done with a bit more beef. I finished with a good old favourite in the Apple Crumble and a Floater Coffee. Thank You to the team for a lovely afternoon.

4 /5 Phil Mullard: Generally a decent place. Service was somewhat slow,but menu and food very good. Personally my steak was "over" peppercorned, but as I say thats a personal taste. Exellently cooked though. Wine list is extensive and worth a long look. Pricewise not the kind of place for a "quick bite". Youll probably appreciate the menu and the atmosphere. Overall. OK but nothing remarkable to scream " come back".

5 /5 Charlotte Wood: Incredible Sunday roast and even better service from Zane who went above and beyond to cater for my gluten allergy and ensured we were well looked after with no additional charges to any veg on the roast as a substitute for not being able to eat the Yorkshire or cauliflower cheese.

3 /5 Richard Walton: Pretty much a pub with tables. It does have a well stocked bar and the bar staff and waitresses were polite and helpful. It is quite a large building and makes use of all the spaces with dining tables everywhere. Then there is the food. It was OK, just some of the things on the menu were small. I had arancini which I received 1. I also had duck which consisted of a block of dauphinoise potatoes and 4 thin strips of duck a carrot and some runner beans. Its too expensive for what you receive. One thing to note-if you are ordering any meat product, specify how you want it cooked. If you dont, it is going to be up to the kitchen to decide. You wont be asked, youll have to say it. Another thing to note, this is a card payment only establishment. I personally wouldnt recommend it.
