The Godalming Deli - Surrey

Rating: 4.6 /5
Kevin We ordered Short Rib, Tuna, Chorizo, Cauliflower and Hummus. Everything was exquisitely done. Beautiful bougie vibes on a Friday night. It’s definitely worth the visit and really brings you away from Godalming to some other amazing place on holiday.

Barbecue Chefs - Hog Roast Surrey - Surrey

Rating: 4.5 /5
Robert Pretorius Met the crew at a wedding yesterday where the team were preparing a whole hog roast. Very impressive, they estimated it would be ready at 5pm and it was. The taste was amazing, no heavy spices needed, the flavour of the slow cooked pork, rended fat and smoke shone through. The crackling was great too. Well done guys, it was as good as it gets in my opinion. Rob P

Richard KEENE Just returned to a favourite restaurant which has been converted from a fire station and retains old charm in a lovely town of Godalming. The manager Eugene made us feel very welcome and was prompt with the service. He made every effort to engage and was a great example of how to make the customer feel important. Great return visit.

Acorn Restaurant - Surrey

Rating: 4.7 /5
Angela Jones This was worth a trip out of London! It’s the South-East’s best kept secret. I almost don’t want to write a review! The Acorn provides a very relaxed setting. Bruce the owner/chef serves up some of the best food I’ve eaten in a long time. It beats the 5-star establishments in taste and yet is half the price. Trust me… you will come back and bring your friends. And then your friends will come back. Oh and look out for “Nigel” - Bruce’s bottled Cladophlora. Enjoy.

Restaurant @ The Kings Arms & Royal Hotel - Surrey

Rating: 4.5 /5
Ron Bailey Lovely village pub on the outskirts of Otterton in Devon. A very good comprehensive menu and an excellent choice of beers. We ate there twice. Sunday roast beef was brilliant. Mounds of veggies and a serious portion of very lean beef. Second occasion I had fried liver and bacon with mash. Fantastic! Washed down with Sharpes Fury. Great pub, great service and well worth a visit.
