The Tap on the Line, Kew - (Near Richmond upon Thames, South East)

5 /5 Rhiannon Williams: Delicious food. Lovely location. Great if you have a trainspotter in your friends/family circles as its right next to the railway station. The decor is fab tying in with the Kew garden theme, the staff were welcoming, friendly and attentive. The bar was full because of rugby 6 nations Games and the Olympics but the noise and atmosphere was fun and not too unwelcoming or raucous. The indoor dining is in a separate area to the main bar. There were plenty of people sat outside even on a cold February Eve. It seems like its a local favourite.

5 /5 Sophie LeM: The perfect pub, especially on a Sunday on a sunny spring day when the magnolias are popping and your nose is a bit cool so you warm up here. Or in winter when the skies are grey but the white lights are twinkling inside. Or sitting outside in summer and laughing a little louder on the third point. Oh kripes, it’s just always good, doesn’t matter when. Their Sunday roast has puffy Yorkshire pudding, meat that makes this vegetable lover cave and a cabbage so perfectly charred I compare all my home versions to this one. Don’t ever change, you glorious little snug.

4 /5 Fardad: Cosy pub with a beautiful eatery by the side of the platform. Good variety of dishes in the menu. Fish and chips was our favorite with crispy haddock and delicious peas.

4 /5 Kara-Jo MacFadyen: Really nice spot for a quick bite or a drink. We had some breads and olives and tapas bits which were delicious and reasonably priced. The waitress who served us was really lovely and accommodating, even though she was running the show solo. Loved the decor too.

4 /5 Julian Richer: Great experience! Most of our Food was good, steak tacos was just ok. Out of scotch eggs when we went. Service and atmosphere was fantastic, not too busy on a Thursday afternoon.
