4 /5 Helen Howe: A delightful lunch stop on our way to Uppark (NT property). A friendly welcome. Delicious celeriac soup and a camembert to share, with some good quality ale. Lovely country pub with lots of character. Will definitely be back. Looks like some nice walks in the area!

5 /5 Ryan: Beautiful proper country pub with a fire, cosy places to sit and some lovely food. Somewhat expensive for some of the food but thats a subjective viewpoint maybe. Veggie food available. Friendly staff and also very dog friendly with water bowl for your furry friends. Would definitely visit again if in the area.

4 /5 Vaani Wadman: We had a lovely trip to the White Hart Pub recently and found our family room to be comfortable and dog-friendly. It was a little chilly on arrival but warmed up when we turned the heating up. We chose to have dinner in the pub but were disappointed by the expensive menu. Compared to the burgers (served with chips), the vegetarian main course (supposedly a tart but more like a pizza made with puff pastry) was shockingly small for the price. When I raised this with the wait staff, I was kindly offered something else complimentary from the menu but in my opinion, this item should be re-considered as a mains offering. Fortunately the breakfast was more generous. The staff were lovely and the pub was very cosy - would recommend for a stay and for a drink but would suggest dining elsewhere

3 /5 Eve Apple: Lovely style of pub, cosy & welcoming, staff very pleasant, dog friendly but - the food was really overpriced for what it was and am sorry to say, I actually felt rather ripped off. Nothing wrong with the food at all but was Harvester standard, very small portions and I felt we paid twice what it was worth. I can only think that the overheads for this venue are significant which is why they feel obliged to charge so much for such standard food. I would advise this is better for a drink after a dog walk than for a meal. Kids meals were ok in terms of price.

5 /5 Laura S: Cosy, welcoming, great food. The guy who served us was really kind and friendly. We are fussy eaters with a vegetarian and intolerances but he was really supportive and made notes on our order to make sure everything was okay. The chickpea and beetroot burger was the best vegetarian burger in a pub weve had! Lovely fire, lovely decor, beautiful town. Only after we left did we realise the beautiful view from the garden! We didnt stay the night but it would be a great part of the world to stay in.
