4 /5 Daniel: We came here today to try it out for lunch after we got a gift card to use in Greene king pubs. First impressions is it is in a very good location with a big car park which is free for customers. Just don’t forget to put your reg in the tablet at the front door. We found a table right away and went to order drinks. We got the flaming bbq meat sharer for £24.99. It came with chips, mac n cheese, pork ribs, slow cooked beef on the bone, corn on the cob, onions rings, coleslaw and beans. This is absolutely worth the money for two people. We struggled to eat it and left some as it was so much food. The front entrance could really do with a revamp though. The wooden door frames are all rotting away and it could do with a lick of paint. I think this would really make a difference and make it a lot more appealing. The two members of staff working today were fantastic the gentleman working has great customer service and the lady also gave us a smile and said thank you as we left. It’s dog friendly with a nice size beer garden out the front. The customer service here is one of the best of all the Greene king pubs I’ve visited over the years and I’ve been to a lot. Absolutely worth a visit as the food is really good value for money. Will definitely be back again soon.

2 /5 K D: Rib was full of fat couldn’t even eat it, cut it all up to try find bits of meat but so fatty and the skin tasted burnt. Slow serving food but bar staff were friendly so that’s why I gave a 2 star.

5 /5 Paul Butt: My first ever visit and I’ll guarantee it won’t be my last, it was exceptional. I don’t normally use that word exceptional when it comes to eating out, but I have to in this case. As soon I walked in, I thought to myself “this is going to be really good” and so it proved & then some. A special mention to Jody, who made me feel very welcome, a wonderful waitress, pass on my utmost thanks to her. All in all, an awesome place to eat.

2 /5 Marc Hague: To start the food tasted nice My complaint is i order a meal that stated on menu 2 chicken breasts and I got 1 cut in half , I questioned this and was then told by the head cheff it was a large cut in 2 But the menu stated 2 no size involved like with steak but just an amount . The head cheff stood arguing with me over the fact it weighs the same as 3 small but none of this was on the menu of was told to us at the point of sale And had the pub laughing at the fact he was telling me my maths did not add up when I was saying 2 halfs of sumthing still only makes it 1 hole not 2 So over all if its a snack yea the flavors are nice but if its a main meal you want get 2 meals and you might just get whats on the menu

5 /5 Brandon Ross: Ordered the Carolina Reaper wings, full rack of ribs, and toffee cheesecake. Considered rubbing my eyes after finishing the wings so I could feel something. I’m joking, they were a little sweeter than I expected but chalking that up to flavor. I was feeling it for like 10 minutes and even rolled up my sleeves. Genuinely good and the spiciest wings I’ve had in the UK so far. The bark on the ribs was done well. They were nice and juicy. I would personally prefer a little more sauce or options of different bbq sauces to go with them but I’m just being nitpick-y. They came with corn on the cobb, coleslaw, and fries. I typically am not a coleslaw fan but it was good and needed after those wings to reset my taste. The cheesecake was firm. Maybe would’ve been better with some Carolina Reaper drizzled over it- or I was just too full at this point to enjoy it. Great portions and good vibes. Thank you for the meal.
