Jenny B This is a creative, welcoming restaurant with a talented chef. I visited Whitstable with two good friends and visiting 39 (or Laurens as I prefer to call it) was one of our highlights. Whitstable is already a place worth celebrating for its pretty scenery, clear blue sea and independent shops, and this place was a hidden gem - though not so hidden as we found it through good Google reviews! We were very kindly welcomed by Fairlie and Roy and enjoyed the cocktails, with Head Chef Laurens Lemon Drop being the winner! The food was a delicious fusion of flavours! We found that five of the small plates shared by three of us was filling enough that we didnt ask for a desert. I would recommend giving 39/Laurens a try for its food, creative gallery feel and friendly ambience and if Roy is there he will happily tell you about the local area so do ask him!

Rohit Dey Im new to south west London and absolutely loved this Asian place. Probably one of the best Asian places Ive tried in London. Its actually an Indo Asian restaurant and serves top notch food. Very hospital and courteous staff, great decor and exhaustive menu. Will come back again!

Georgina Cavey A wonderful pub & restaurant on Kew Green. The Rose & Crown has been tastefully renovated by the new owners. It has a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Andreas, Oli and the rest of the team are always friendly and helpful. They have a delicious menu, we’ve eaten here many times trying their mid week locals lunch, their A La Carte menu and their Sunday Roast. Nothing ever disappoints! They have a cosy fire when you enter & on warmer days the outside terrace is a perfect spot to look over Kew Green. It feels like you’ve escaped to the countryside! In the summer months you can also enjoy watching the Cricket from the front terrace. We are delighted that The Rose & Crown is our local pub.

They catered and provided waiters for our wedding of over 500 guests, and I honestly can’t put into words how grateful we are for the incredible service they delivered. From our very first conversation, Aunty Bola (the owner) made such a wonderful impression. She was kind, professional, and genuinely interested in understanding us as a couple and what we envisioned for our big day. She didn’t just take our brief and run with it, she took the time to ask questions, listen carefully, and make sure every detail was thought through. Her communication was always clear and timely, and it gave us so much confidence knowing that she had everything under control. And the food, wow! Every single dish was delicious. Guests kept telling us after the wedding how much they loved the food. The flavours, the presentation, the freshness, everything was top notch! You could really taste the care and passion that went into it. The service on the day was also amazing. The waitstaff were polite, attentive, and so efficient. Despite the size of the crowd, everything ran smoothly so there was no stress, no confusion, just great service and smiles all round. What really stood out to us was how the team respected the venue’s kitchen space. They actually left it cleaner than they found it, which says everything about their standards and professionalism. But honestly, what made the whole experience truly special was Aunty Bola herself. She’s one of the sweetest people you could ever hope to work with - calm, reassuring, and so full of warmth. You can tell she really loves what she does and cares deeply about making her clients happy. MimiAnn Kitchen didn’t just provide catering for our wedding, they helped create an experience. Everything about the food, the service, and the people behind it reflected excellence and heart. I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation. RU3L5KY Our tables were nicely set up for our Xmas dinner. The team was fantastic, friendly and very accommodating but our main server was Jubilee, shes hyper-efficient and looked after us during our Xmas meal with friends and family. My steak was always cooked to my preference. Waiting time was quick. Definitely will be a regular customer.
