Pete So I had a couple of hours to kill and decided to make my way to the sea front at Goring By Sea which is a relaxing part of the South Coast. There is plenty of free parking right by the sea front and a grassy area to settle on. I chose to visit the Sea Lane Cafe for a coffee and bacon bap, when I arrived at about 11:20 it was very busy with about a five minute wait to order, the coffee was good and the large brown bap bacon roll delicious, loads of bacon, probably the best bacon roll I have had in ages. If you need a couple of hours to occupy then this is definitely the place to go. Great young team on the service polite and friendly.

Phil Gladman Ritchies Buffet is a great place to get your food or drink before catching your train. Always a smile from all the staff and I always enjoy my little chats.

I had an incredible experience at Worthing Indian Restaurant Café & Bar and I can honestly say it’s one of the best Indian dining spots I’ve been to in a long time. The moment you walk in, you feel welcomed with warm hospitality and a relaxed atmosphere that makes you want to stay longer. Every dish was full of flavour, cooked to perfection, and beautifully presented. The spices were perfectly balanced – rich, aromatic, and authentic without being overwhelming. I highly recommend trying the butter chicken, biryani, and garlic naan – next level delicious! You can taste the love and attention that goes into every plate. The service was just as impressive: friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring. They made us feel like valued guests rather than just customers. It’s rare to find that combination of top-quality food, excellent service, and great ambiance all in one place. Whether you’re local or just visiting Worthing, this place is a must-try! Shona Steel We came for a family meal to celebrate an 18th birthday. The food was nothing short of incredible with a good variety of things to appeal to everyone. We had someone with a soy intolerance and they bent over backwards to try and accommodate them. The service was excellent, warm and friendly. The cocktails alone are worth trying this restaurant for. They are spectacular and so much fun to experience. We went on a Friday night, when they have a live dj, and the music was a little too loud to make conversation easily, so Id probably go on a weeknight in future for more intimate occasions and weekends if you are up for a more lively night out.

Charley Winter We’ve just finished our meal for my birthday and I cannot fault it in any way. The service was next level. I had the fillet steak and it was the best steak I’ve had to date, without a doubt! The wine the waitress recommended was perfectly what I’d requested, and the overall experience was just perfect. Cannot thank the team enough. Next time we’re in Brighton, we’ll definitely be back!
