the pied bull

The Pied Bull - Enfield

Rating: 4 /5
Harry Sykes I went to The Pied Bull with my girlfriend and her sister and parents and I couldn’t fault it one bit. I ordered the chicken burger with chips while my girlfriend had the steak pie which was cooked to perfection. Proper pub food for offer that were reasonably priced. The staff were very friendly and welcoming to us, especially Daisy as she was our waitress throughout our time there. The whole place was really clean and cosy with classic 80’s and 90’s music that fit the vibe they’re going for. Great food and lovely atmosphere! Will definitely be coming back again soon!

Cricketers - Enfield - Enfield

Rating: 4.4 /5
Claudia The Cricketers is one of the best pubs to have Sunday Roast in Enfield. We came as a party of four to have drinks and Sunday roast, and our guests were very impressed. The food was great and very good value for money. They also do extra specials on the Sunday roast, this Sunday was lamb shank and gammon. The staff is very attentive and helpful at all times. The pub is very nice decorated with cricket themes and very cosy indoors, and a pub garden. They also organise special events, as British pie week, and Mothers day lunch. We will come again to enjoy the Sunday roast. Thank you guys.

Enfield Tandoori Restaurant - Enfield

1956gooner My experience here was a welcome surprise. Both the food and service were excellent. For starters I had the prawn puri (ÂŁ6.95), the prawns were cooked perfectly, nice and soft. For mains I had Goan green chicken curry (ÂŁ11.95), on the sweeter and milder side but delicious. Accompanied by special fried rice (ÂŁ4.95) and a dryish saag bhaji (ÂŁ4.95). All washed down with a double whisky (ÂŁ9.50 ish). A restaurant I will return to.

The Kings Head Enfield - Enfield

Rating: 4.1 /5
1956gooner This is my favourite pub in Enfield. I was here when it opened at 11am so was the only customer. This is a traditional pub, downstairs there are three sections to it and they have an upstairs function room. In addition there is a lot of exterior seating some of which is under cover. They do sell food, check out their lunch special menu of one starter and one main for ÂŁ15.95 (Mon-Fri). They have three cask ales and a large selection of gins. Between 4pm and 7pm they have a special on beer buckets, 5 bottles for ÂŁ20. Going on previous experience this pub does get busy evenings and weekends. The location is great, in the market square next to the church (5 minute walk from Enfield Town station). If you visit Enfield I certainly recommend this pub.

CARIBBREAK - Enfield

Rating: 4.9 /5
Sabeena Sharma I was introduced to Caribbreak couple of months ago by my colleagues, and now it has been my go-to work lunch ever since! The jerk chicken with fried plantain, the goat curry, and even the bokit, they are all extremely delicious. Every single time I order, the food never disappoints. And I have to mention Stephan — such a friendly and charming person! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a reasonably priced and great Caribbean food!

The Old Wheatsheaf - Enfield

Paul O’ Brien This is my local, it’s really nice and the latest landlords are really lovely. My favourite place to stop for a pint at the end of a great cycle journey. In the past one could bring bikes through the gate, so perhaps that will be reinstated in the future, or the front area with no table on the street could have a nice place to lock up bikes safely. Deffo recommend.
