Herne Bay Cafe Restaurant - (Near Kent, london)

Pizzatastic (Pizzatastic) Attended the Makcaris in the bandstand today for a late lunch as recently moved back to the area. I wasn’t sure what to expect as I didn’t know much about the place but when they gave us our food we were speechless (in a good way) at the quality and presentation of the food. And it taste as good as it looked! The pricing for a coffee, Coke Zero, club sandwich and French toast was just under £30 which is quite steep - but for a treat and the quality it was I think the pricing is fair. The staff were also lovely and polite, will definitely be revisiting.

Sabuj Chowdhury Last Sunday, I went to Spiced Bay Restaurant with my family. We tried their new menu. Their food was extremely delicious and the service was also great.

philth Great local Italian we found almost by accident. Absolutely delicious pizzas, we had margaritas and added sausage and artichoke to one and mushrooms on the other. Nice house white wine. Looks like only a few seats from outside but big space upstairs with 80 seats. Thoroughly enjoyed and recommend if you’re in the area. One of the best pizzas I’ve had in the uk in ages

Eliane Camus Delicious food ! Went there for a romantic diner, perfect place because at night the place is so cosy. Went for both chicken and lamb (chicken kofte + mixed shish), but we preferred the chicken because it was cooked in 2 different ways but very tasty with the spices. The lamb was a bit dry, not outstanding, but still good (just a deception if compared with chicken which is incredible in taste). Huge portions, good value for money. We recommend !

Keith Martin A hypothetical TV-infomercial for Taj Mahal would go something like this: “Hey, families of Herne Bay! Are you sick and tired of the same old Indian takeaway? Do you want a real taste of Indian? Order from Taj Mahal.” While they do have a la carte and tasting menu options for dinner, the best value is their takeaway.

R E Great smash burger and fries. We visited on a Saturday and were made to feel welcome and the staff were attentive and helpful throughout the visit. Our burger and fries were really good. The fries were lovely and crunchy (although not actually twice fried). The burger was a genuine smash burger, not just something trying to cash in in the term, and the bacon was incredibly crispy. All the other items we saw being served looked really tempting too so well definitely be back to try some other options
