What Clients Are Saying Pho Ta Battersea (GG)
5 /5 Ian Chamberlain: This a takeaway - some pictures show tables but there are none.
The food quality is amazing. Price also very reasonable with sizable portions. Very quick service.
If you are taking out and eating locally outside remember to ask for a fork/spoon
2 /5 Nhi Nguyen: Ordered the chicken Pho.
Really bad quality. The broth was dull, nothing exciting or to look forward to.
The onion…the onion was outrageous. Big chunks of weird cuts of onion was included. Like they’re cut randomly by a 3 years old. They’re all raw and too big to be cooked by the broth (even with reheating). Got better chopped onion at Chinese takeaway.
The summer roll was unimpressive with no herbs inside.
The only average one was the seafood spring roll, filling was good but the wrap was really thick, I could only taste flour in the first bite.
Not worth second order.
4 /5 Matthew S: The summer rolls were too small for £6.50. Otherwise the Bun Bo Hue was a decent sized portion and had an authentic flavour. Needed some fresh chillies on the side. Overall good food for a takeaway but not the best Vietnamese in London. Service was very quick.
2 /5 Jade: The chicken wings were abysmal. They were overcooked, not fresh or made with a pinch of love. I ate one, and the rest was for the bin.
The portion of the main was good, but it was bland. I used the onions and peppers from the wings to add flavour and also had to add a few seasonings from home to the meat to make it enjoyable.
Unfortunately, I wouldnt order from this restaurant again.
1 /5 mokujin Rocky: Food gave me food poisoning, and I was so hungry, did not eat the whole day. Literally ate it. Many hours later, im vomiting and having a fever.
My food did not feel hot nor warm. Would definitely stay away, ordered chicken and prawn. No allergies! Absolute disgust, with the state this food left me in.
Feels like no standards, were taken in making the food, I ordered months back no issues. Now, I would stay away like the plague..
katie t Absolutely wonderful dinner. Exquisite flavour, marvellous value for money, stupendous portion size, A+ freshness, and really friendly staff. My partner and I had a brilliant time. We would strongly recommend!
Maria Komba As regulars and steak lovers my boyfriend and can easily say its hands down the best steak in London, above Hawksmoor Blacklock and all others. Dani, Belén, Tanesha and of course the rest of the staff are always so welcoming and warm. The steak is always perfectly cooked and melts in your mouth, the chef is truly unrivalled. Also appreciate that the Milanese from the lunch menu has finally made it to the dinner menu, it was such a treat on our recent visit! Triple cooked chips never fail nor the veg. The La Linda pairs amazingly with the meats, and if you have room for something extra do not skip the churro and ice cream and the dessert wine.
Always a pleasure :)
Ciaran Murray Been to this place a few times now for the coffee and spinach & feta pie, came today to get the combo meal for lunch and it was delicious!! Every time I go here the coffee and food is always incredible, made all the better by the exceptionally friendly staff - not to mention the outdoor seating which is perfect on a sunny day! Some of the best coffee and Greek food I’ve had in London, definitely an amazing hidden gem in Battersea :)
Miguel Angel Rubio Velásquez Without a doubt, this is one of the best Latin food spots in London with excellent customer service, great food offert and located next to the train and tube station.
Ricardo Martinez A great find on Queenstown Road, Battersea. An excellent start to the morning, with everything from delicious shakshuka to a full English breakfast on offer. There’s a great choice of options, so everyone is catered for. The staff were friendly and made us feel genuinely welcome. Keep it up!
