Charli Benson Came here with my family when I was a alot younger and havent stopped coming back! The staff here are a delight to be around; always providing the best service and most delicious food. The tables are cleared and clean after a customer is finished, you can sit there for hours without feeling rushed and the food! Oh my god the food! Tastes like heaven. Cheese toasties are to die for and the soup (I speak as someone who hates soup) a gorgeous creation and dont get me started on the cakes! Absolute perfection, couldnt ask for anything better! 12/10 awfully good! A hidden gem! 100% would recommend

D Robs By far the best pizza in elephant and castle! Can’t get enough of this place. The pizzas are always constantly of a good quality, service is great and the restaurant itself is lovely! On a lovely sunny day, the balcony is a perfect sun trap for al fresco dining.

Steven Clarke We chose Mowgli’s for a birthday celebration and made a group booking in advance. When arranging it, I asked if we could have a set banquet, and was told this would include a starter, main dish, rice or bread, and a side order. However, when we arrived and began ordering, we were informed that it was actually a limited menu, which didn’t include many of the popular dishes. I spoke with the manager, who kindly agreed to add chicken tikka masala to the options, but we were then told that the banquet did not include a side dish — despite being told otherwise during the booking. When everyone was seated, poppadoms and sauces were brought to the table without being asked for or informed of any charge. We were later surprised to find a £40 charge for 20 poppadoms and sauces on the bill. Unfortunately, this experience was disappointing, and due to the lack of clarity and unexpected charges, I wouldn’t be able to recommend Mowgli’s based on this.

David Villars Late booking for a Sunday roast and the staff couldnt have been better, even accommodating our dog who needed a bowl for their dinner. Huge portions and very tasty. Friendly staff, quick and attentive, plenty of menu choice and lots of free parking.

Mo What an absolute amazing experience, loved every minute of my time here. I saw the excellent menu and everything sounded delicious but I had to get the Platter! £65 totally worth it. Highly recommend all to come and great vibes with open kitchen and can see the open pit. 100% satisfaction, Finally always tip the chefs

Virginia Huffman We had a lovely dinner at The Pem. The decor is beautiful and the music fit the ambiance very well. The food was excellent throughout. The amuse-bouches were thoughtful and delicious, and the quail and scallop starters were both inventive and savory. The highlight for us was the beef dish — perfectly cooked with outstanding sides, easily one of the best beef dishes we’ve had at a fine restaurant. It was one of our favorite meals during our three weeks in Europe. Service was mixed at the start, as we were seated in a central area but not initially attended to. However, when Maciej, the manager, stepped in after we asked about having a drink with our amuse-bouche, the experience improved significantly and became seamless. The sommelier was also excellent and very helpful.
