John Cooper We went here for a large birthday gathering. As the restaurant was catering to such a large group, they provided a special menu with a good choice of curries. Everyone enjoyed the food and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Good choice of bottle beers with a few on draft. Reasonable choice of spirits.

s The food was great! I came here for my birthday with two of my friends. I got the lamb burger with fries and a drink, and we also ordered five Algerian tenders to share. We were served by Ali, who provided great service. I would 100% recommend coming here again.

Sandra Shaw Definitely a place to stop time for a little bit. The friendliness of the staff makes you feel familiar (special shout-out Ufuk), and the coziness of the interior carries through to how relaxed all the diners seemed to be. Most importantly, the dishes are very tasty and beautifully presented… and the cocktails are well worth a sip. My daughter and I bypassed our well loved south London spots to try something new, and we left feeling more than satisfied. Ten. Ten.

ChefCheer - Sutton

Jamie Roberts We’ve been driving past ChefCheer for weeks and finally decided to give it a go one Sunday evening. The restaurant was very quiet and its relatively small inside. Decor and music made us feel like we’re back home in Egypt. This Iraqi/Persian food is so so good. Really generous portions and super tasty. We were given a complimentary bowl of lentil soup, which I would 100% go back for! The lamb kozi just melted in your mouth and the mixed grill was delicious. The only disappointment was the okra stew which was a little slimey. There looked like there’s a large table toward the back but otherwise tables are for 2-4 people. If you’re a big group I would recommend booking. We need to give this local restaurant some love! We can’t wait to go back and try some of the other dishes.
