The setup is beautiful and thoughtfully designed, creating a really unique and modern experience. Great spot to unwind, enjoy the atmosphere, and spend quality time with friends. Jennifer Rhoads I told my husband, “This is so delicious, I’m almost upset.” I don’t even know what that means, but the food is amazing. The grilled halloumi is such perfect texture—I think it’s the best I’ve ever had. The vibe is comfortable, cozy, and so welcoming. The people and service are wonderful. Incredibly aware and engaging. Book a table and don’t miss this place!

Luca Kalmár We tried it yesterday with my friends, and we loved it. It had a very good price, and all of the food had a good price. We ate fish & chips; mashed peas, and we all can say that everything was very delicious and we are highly recommend this place! We didn’t took pictures, but the portions are huge, so make sure you arrive hungry! Very nice staff, very fast serving, and everything was so right in this place! We will come back, as soon as we can!

Mueen H We visited Smoke & Pepper in Leyton and tried their newly launched ‘The Flying Dutchman’ burger, along with their popular Big Smoke and Brisket Burger with Gravy. We also ordered the Korean Loaded Fries and Brisket Loaded Fries. The food was of good quality, freshly prepared, and full of flavour. As everything is made to order, we had a 20-minute wait, which was reasonable. We also tried the Pacha Mojito, which was just about okay and didn’t quite match the quality of the food. The venue is relatively small, with seating for around 20–30 people, so we had to wait briefly as it was busy. Burger portions were on the smaller side, but the fries were served in generous portions. The prices were fair for the quality, and based on our visit, we’d be happy to return to try more from the menu.

Anthony Browne Found this diamond of a restaurant on a trip to Oxford. We were warmly welcomed and then exposed to probably the best curry experience Ive had in a long time. There is a slimmed down menu which ensures what you get is a uniquely made dish. The service was fantastic and the food exquisite The onion bhajis presented in such a beautiful way and tasted delicious The sea bass curry was excellent. Please go and visit. Its wonderful and not expensive.
