Mioma Priora Tucked away in the charmingly narrow Friars Entry, The White Rabbit is a standout pub for its dedicated craft beer selection and playful Alice in Wonderland theme. It’s a cosy, eclectic space filled with curious decor, mismatched furniture, and a genuinely welcoming vibe that appeals to both locals and in-the-know visitors. From my perspective, this is a top choice for a relaxed evening focused on quality drinks. The constantly rotating taps showcase excellent local and national craft ales, making it a destination for beer enthusiasts. The food menu complements this perfectly, focusing on hearty, shareable pub classics with a gourmet twist. While the burgers are solid, the standout is their sourdough pizza. The dough is fermented in-house, giving it a fantastic texture, and the topping combinations are creative yet balanced. The ‘Fun-Guy’ (wild mushrooms, truffle oil, and garlic) is a particular highlight. The loaded fries (try the ‘Dirty Fries’ with cheese, bacon, and jalapeños) also make for a perfect beer-sharing snack. Portions are generous, so consider sharing a pizza and a side. Go in the late afternoon or early evening to secure a table in the quirky, cave-like back room. The staff are knowledgeable and happy to guide your beer choice to pair with your food. Remika For the price this place has got great value for money! We got the spicy salami panini and beef panini along with the pistachio cannoli for a total of £12. The paninis were fresh and hot. They’ve also got lots of seating area inside the store you would not expect. A line out the door really adds to the ambiance but service is quick and constantly moving. Glad we got to try this spot and would recommend!

jane hau In Oxford for the theatre with friend. Stubbled across Thaikhun. First impression was WOW loving the decor and ambience definitely giving Vibes of Thailand !! Staff were friendly, polite and attentive. We were absolutely starving after 2hrs + drive we ordered chicken pad, street food noodles, Thai fish cake, veg Gyoza and both finishing off with the classic Mango with sticky rice pudding. All overall we both enjoyed our meals.

Sally Cullimore Just the best Sunday lunch we have ever had. The chicken was amazing, and generous. The pork belly melt in you mouth. Roasties were yummy - sometimes they disappoint when eating out, but not here. Service was friendly and the pub is lovely and cozy with a log fire on the go. Only slight disappointment was the dessert, not as good as the rest of the meal (sticky toffee tiramasu) was bland and a bit stodgy. But as the rest was top notch, 5 stars all round.

The staff were all very helpful and friendly and couldn’t do enough to ensure the evening was a success, which indeed it was! I am a coeliac and had no concerns whatsoever about my dietary requirements as they personally reassured me with every course that was served. Would not hesitate to recommend this gem of a restaurant in Wallingford
