5 /5 Lesley Huzzey: We visited here whilst staying locally and had an enjoyable evening. From start to finish it was great with no complaints. There was a good menu choice and the service was brilliant. We chose the soup - Broccoli and Stilton and prawn linguine to start with. Followed by fish cakes and the mushroom and beef stroganoff. We finished with the cheese board. Everything was delicious and can highly recommend. We plan to return as soon as possible.

5 /5 H S: Best meal out in a long time. The food was perfect, served fresh and homemade. It is clear a lot of love and effort had gone into our food, with every part to the best quality- someone clearly loves to cook! The service was also warm and welcoming. Couldnt fault it. Special mention to the warm runny scotch eggs!

5 /5 Paul Young: Went to Cottage Lodge as a surprise for my wife as it was her birthday and our wedding anniversary. White Tails is the restaurant there. The food was fantastic, as was the service. Only 4 for the atmosphere as we were the first people in the restaurant at 6.00pm, but it improved as more people turned up.

5 /5 Aliki Moysiadi: Really beautiful food. We had the scotch egg, the stroganoff (with beef), and the creme brulee and lemon roulade. Everything was super fresh and skilfully cooked, the portions exactly right. We also loved the atmosphere - from decor to music, and the host was very friendly and gave us recommendations. We felt very safe with regards to covid measures, and cannot wait to return and taste more of the menu! Edit: visited again yesterday to try both favourites and new (to us) dishes. Had the scotch egg and stroganoff again, as well as the pork loin main and goats cheese starter. We also tried the cheesecake and bakewell tart. Eveything was simply exquisite, and Ramsey is always an excellent host. We hope to return again soon!

5 /5 Dora Roughan: Had a fabulous dinner here. Amazing scotch egg and salmon cannoli for starter. For mains the sea bass and Lamb shank and to end the evening with the creme brûlée. 10/10 for the food. Feels as though you are dinning at a friend’s independent restaurant. Would highly recommend.
