5 /5 Lorna Denton: Lovely ancient Old Hospital Chapel, that used to be run by nuns. It is like stepping back in time hundreds of centuries ago. Right in the middle of busy Ilford, surrounded by giant buildings, yet when in the Chapel it is as if you in the countryside. Only one service a week, starts at 12.35 to 1.15pm every Thursday. Limited parking at the back.
