Franklin Family Always so friendly and helpful - my mother (90) is treated like one of the family. Great range of food from breakfasts to sandwiches. Generally parking available right outside. A real asset to the village.
Turnbull Ian We popped in for a few cocktails as we were staying locally. Nice well presented bar with lots of casual seating. A good selection of cocktails, all made fresh by the bar staff. A top tip : If you are ordering cocktails then ask for Bella, she is a great mixologist and, by far, the cocktails she served up were the tastiest of the evening.
Becca Robinson Another great "Lounge" by the Loungers chain. We ate here on a Friday mid morning- it was busy but we were able to get a table easily. It was very loud due to how busy it was and its probably the smallest Lounge weve visited so noise was possibly more concentrated.
Food was lush and perfect portions. Service was quick and friendly. Ideal.
Helen Seward-Porter We use this pub on a regular basis. The service is exceptional and the team members are very attentive. Especially LUCIAN, who is so good at his job and has a smile for every customer. Currently The Griffin is decorated for Christmas and looks very festive and also there is a wonderful real fire burning every day and evening which creates a lovely atmosphere.
Meddeha Sajjad First visit after hearing about this place for years and did not disappoint. Ive never had pasta so perfectly cooked, the sauce and cooking of the seafood was excellent as was the pizza. The quality of ingredients was great. Even better was the service, everyone from the owner and to the waiting staff were very helpful, polite and personable. Highly highly recommend.
