4 /5 Vikram S: A nice Indian restaurant option in Battersea and an easy choice when you’re in the area. The food is good overall, with a mix of familiar and interesting flavors. However, nothing really stands out.
For appetizers, we tried the Dahi Bhalla Chaat, Paneer Soola, and the Bengali Spiced Fish Cake. I especially liked the Paneer Soola — the flavors brought back some strong taste memories from my home state of Rajasthan in India, which was a pleasant surprise.
For the main course, we ordered Chole Kulche and the Lucknawi Chicken Biryani. The Chole Kulche was good and comforting, while the biryani was okay. We finished with the Rasmalai Tres Leches, which was enjoyable.
Since it’s popular with larger groups, there can be some movement in the dining area during busy periods.
Overall, a comfortable spot with dependable food, especially if you’re dining with a group.
