It felt like a small reward after wandering through the charming street with its lively atmosphere and mix of cafés and shops. GAIL’s is one of those places where you know what to expect: reliable quality, friendly service, and a welcoming environment. This particular branch lived up to that reputation. The moment we stepped inside, the aroma of freshly baked bread and pastries set the tone. The staff were attentive, efficient, and genuinely warm, which made the experience even more pleasant. We ordered tea, coffee, a cinnamon bun, and a blueberry custard brioche – all staples for us when visiting GAIL’s. The drinks were spot-on: the tea brewed to the right strength, and the coffee had a lovely balance of flavour and depth. The cinnamon bun was just the way it should be – soft, slightly sticky, with just the right amount of sweetness. The blueberry custard brioche was a true highlight, with a creamy, indulgent filling complemented by the freshness of the fruit. The space itself is bright and comfortable, perfect for a short break or even a longer sit-down if you want to watch the world go by outside. The buzz of Exmouth Market adds to the charm, making it not just a bakery visit but part of a wider experience of this vibrant corner of London. Overall, this branch of GAIL’s reinforced why the brand is so well loved. Bonnie Kwan We were tourist and were introduced to this restaurant by some local friends who highly recommended it. Since we were traveling with children, we arrived a bit earlier than the usual dinner crowd. On the way to the toilet, I happened to pass by the pizza oven and saw the chef preparing the pizza dough. My child was so excited that we stopped to ask a few questions, and the chef kindly explained that the pizzas here are made in true Neapolitan style — simple, wholesome ingredients, healthier by nature. He told us the dough is fermented at a low temperature for 72 hours, and baked in an oven of over 400°C. Hearing this alone, I already knew we had come to the right place. There were seven of us, including three kids, and we ordered seafood pasta, risotto, a few pizzas, and garlic bread. Every single dish was delicious, but the one that I still dream about was the seafood pasta. It was served wrapped in a baking sheet, and as soon as it was opened, the rich aroma of tomato sauce filled the air. The seafood was undeniably fresh, with the squid pre-grilled to perfection, adding depth of flavor. We enjoyed it so much that not a single trace was left on the plate. It has been two weeks since I returned to Hong Kong, and I still cannot forget that meal. I truly feel it would be unfair not to leave a glowing review for such an exceptional dining experience.

Dani O Booked W7 for a small party and couldn’t be happier. Claire and her team were so accommodating; supporting a mainly vegan menu, making a custom punch for us and creating zones across both floors for food and dancing. We were lucky to host on a February evening that was mild and rain-free so guests sat in the garden booths with the warmth of the outdoor heaters. This venue was so much more than we expected it to be.

Saira Shinwari I had a wonderful experience at this Subway! The food was fantastic and the hygiene standards of the shop were great. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Most importantly the service was outstanding. Umar was amazing and gave amazing customer service. He was kind and welcoming and asked me what I wanted and made my sandwich perfectly. He also asked me if I wanted anything else at the till. I also had a lovely conversation with him and he was very sweet to talk to. I will 110% be visiting this Subway again soon!!! Thanks Umar and to the Subway as whole for an outstanding experience.
