Tam Myo Delicious Indian afternoon tea from one of the winners of the Bake Off Professionals 2024. The hot savouries (Paneer puff and spicy aloo) were a particular treat as were the chocolate cumin, pineapple/mango and cardamom blackcurrant desserts. Views of the river Thames provided a great backdrop.

Dimitris Giannoulis Matiz is a lovely restaurant serving Latin American food (Ecuador). Its a nice option if in Greenwich as I often find restaurants there a bit more tourist oriented and of lower quality. Mating differs in that regard! All the dishes we tried were great, both meat and fish options. Their sangria was very good. The only thing I would have changed was the portion size of the tapas.

Ali I visited this Lebanese restaurant in London with high expectations, but unfortunately the experience didn’t reflect authentic Lebanese cuisine. Although the restaurant is marketed as Lebanese, it is run by Asians, and the flavours and cooking style felt quite different from traditional Lebanese food. The dishes lacked the usual depth of flavour, freshness, and balance of spices you would expect from classic Lebanese mezze and grills. Some items tasted adapted to a different palate, and the seasoning felt off compared to what you’d find in a more authentic Lebanese kitchen. The service was polite and the restaurant itself was clean and comfortable, which is a positive. However, if you’re specifically looking for genuine Lebanese taste and preparation, this place may not meet your expectations. Overall, it might suit diners who prefer a milder or fusion-style approach, but it’s not ideal for those seeking traditional Lebanese flavours.

Adrian Clarke This place hasnt changed in the 20+ years Ive been going to.it. The sound quality is not up to concert venue standards, and broke my own rule not.to stand next to the drum kit, as that drowns out everything! Great night, though, especially as the venue was full (300) for the return of Nova Twins
