5 /5 Matthew Needham Winters: I stumbled upon this place for lunch and was really impressed by the quality of the food. I had a home-made lasagna with a salad and it was absolutely delicious. The owner and his son were really pleasant. It seems to be an authentic family business. There is lots of interesting authentic Italian produce. Really impressed.

The service is always cheerful, polite, attentive and as swift as it can be because sometimes it can get crowded; it seems to be very popular with Italian speakers (dont worry, the staff all speak English as well!). Sandwiches are made up fresh which may take a minute or two and there is a dining area at the back where you can have them to eat in or a hot lunch - we had a very good lasagne the last time we were there with a superb tiramisu. Recommended for . . . everything they sell!!!
